Picked up this "Ajustrite" wall mount stool off craigslist and refinished it. Was mounted in the back of a locksmiths van. still trying to figure out how to use it in my garage!

Mine was in the shop when I bought the house. It works great for when I need to be a little taller or as my drinkin seat.
The steps swivel to up under the seat. "AMES MAID" is printed on the steps

I use these Bevco stools. I have 3 of them. No nonsense and very durable.

While not it's intended use, if I'm not trying to beat a piece of metal into submission, I find myself rolling it around and using it as a stool. Shot bag gives it a little more cushion.

Got these from my old neighbor's garage sale for $1.
Recovered with a Carhartt jacket that was always too big for me.
Still need to repaint the one and do something about the feet on the other.

I have an old wooden one, I'll have to go out to the garage tomorrow and take a pic ...

here it is

It's on "oldie, but a goodie"

I think I bought it as one of those -assemble it yourself- deals (I think at K-Mart, probably in the Mid 70s)

It traveled with me all over the World in my Army Career

not the fanciest, but works for me- at least for now.

If I sat down while working on more projects in the garage, I would probably get something nicer.

But like I said- for now, it's good enough ;)

I've got an old office swivel/typists chair that I got free from work back when I was a slaesman for an office furniture renovation company in about 1987. It came out of a customers office when we replaced all their chairs and was old then. Pre gas lift so you spin it round to raise/lower it. Comfy though and its lasted ****** well, the upholstery on it is still perfect.
