There's many threads....show your ratchets, screwdrivers, toolboxes, carts, etc. but I dnt think I've seen one with everything in one. Would make for a pile of pics though!

Its called "show me your toolbox"! That thread just started as the title stated then just spiraled out of control from there!!!!!

I've got a load of tools in my living room, a batch from Cripe on its way, and the last two loads still in boxes in my garage. Very soon its time for the big, lay out all the tools and do some resorting back into the tool chests. So I may take some pictures and post.

Hard to imagine anybody here crapping on another tool **** thread, post, enjoy, or move on.

Welcome to garage journal from Canada, some of the guys here are tough on newbies, so i'll try to be constructive, the search function is at the top of your screen in the black row and here is a link to the toolbox thread that show cases most peoples tools http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=466&highlight=show+toolbox

Also there are tool specific collection threads like screwdrivers, ratchets, vintage, snap on etc.

So I take it everyone puts all their tools in toolboxes and toolboxes only? I don't think I can fit my buffer in my toolbox, so I keep them in a cabinet. I find no sense in keeping my air tools in a toolbox because I would have to buy another with extra deep drawers to fit them all, so I keep them in a cabinet. My electric tools couldn't fit in a toolbox if I wanted them to so guess what? Cabinet. Hmmm what kind of toolbox could I fit my sandblast cabinet in? Or for that matter my drill press? Are those considered tools? It would be an awful funny looking toolbox to keep my air compressor in. Maybe the OP was meaning collection as a whole, not just hand tools. I think it would be a cool thread though of garages (the big toolbox) if there isn't one already.

Well, the OP (GarageFanatic97) did say "tool collection"... so specific tools you collect, rather than use perhaps? :headscrat
Besides, countryroad82 has a point... not everything will fit in a toolbox. Red Leader collects vintage Craftsman woodworking machines, for example.

What's wrong with more tool **** anyway? :bounce:

I'd like to see poster's tool collections, specifically unique/interesting/unusual collections, or of vintage brands, etc. For example, the post from a few weeks ago of a complete Herbrand collection.
