I also have these craftsman double box end wrenches - they have no model numbers on them so they must be somewhat old.

U stripped out most of the double opens and tossed in a bucket, they just took up space and we use box or combo mostly.

You are collectors ha Some of my real go to faves are generic type stuff prolly Continental in nature that said forged USA. Most sold in singles at farm stores and they were cheap, seems I got some in pics above but a 3/4 was under 4 dollars or less, seems I bought a 15/16 for 6 or so.

I love the cheap MIT, anything 7/16 thru 9/16 for not much more than a buck. The reason why,,,,, one can not feel guilty for having a bit of disregard for the tool, it promotes throwing an extra in a truck, tractor, golf cart without absolute panic about loss etc. They are sort of short, carry well in pockets.

I bought a long full polish Husky 7/16 under 3 and not that much more for a 13 and 15 I scored to toss on the cart.

I think the farm store had a 2 tier system last time, don't recall, I know it looked like they were going down one China line with a semi good product. They used to have this thing called Olympia, a cheap wrench, they were a dollar, then 1.50 to 9/16. It seems like the last time I looked a single there was like 3$, could get the Husky for a bit less.

I can afford as many as I need to be able to grab 2 for clamp work or adjustments.

OP, is it typical there to use more wrenches than ratchets/sockets?
I too prefer a wrench over sockets when possible but reality says its best to have both.

NH Bandit, do you also have the Ford A to put that kit under the seat of? I started looking for T tools and ended up with more A and N tractor tools than T stuff. Sadly all I'll ever have is the tools.

I don't know about OP but I like a combo wrench because its simple. I don't really use a hand ratchet a lot and many of the bolts I work on are good, I can run them with my fingers after a turn with a wrench. I use a power tool with a socket, the locations difficult or rusty etc, I don't hesitate to grab air tool.

Oops, sorry about that. I fixed it for you.

I fashioned this roll-pouch from a big chunk of cow-hide many years ago.
It stays conditioned with motor-oil, which actually works really well.
The form-fit around the box-ends keep them secure and don't fall out the top
even when jostled vigorously when it's rolled up and tied tight, even without the top-flap.
Custom organizational solutions are always the best (old's cool).

The flares are worth some extra investment, I will have to concede that has been less than a stellar shining light for Cman. They closely follow the ratchet.

I'm not that picky if they don't all match.

I was just thinking how sweet Blöckw@rt's set of non-matching German wrenches looked in the picture posted above. That's so much cooler than a matching set, and now I need to do that. It's like you're "building" a set of wrenches, and that sounds like more fun than letting companies decide what sizes I need, or whatever. Looks like I'll be slowly finding single wrenches on eBay or something now. Good sstuff.

Me, I'd rather have the poster size than those tiny little things. I used to do a lot of ebay before it got too expensive to ship small ticket items $100 or less value. Because of it though all my on line 72 dpi photos are ebay sized 1600 pixels. It sure helps see the details.

PS: Nice wrenches everyone! ricleh those SO ratcheting T-wrenches are unusual, haven't seen them before. Those nepros angle wrenches bottom centre look like SO's angles of 15' X 60'. Are they the same angles as snappy?

Ok now here's my little collection. Multiply this to my sae drawer. Have flare sets not pictured. Napa pro and gearwrench ratchet flares. Also have gw xxl indexing ratchet wrenches. The 19x18 is something close to 20" or so.

Id load more pics but my phone will only let me paste one pic at a time. If you want to see my entire box layout, search under.my name for post by user. Thanks for looking.

Nice collection everyone! Especially the person who posted the nepros.

The ratcheting T-wrenches are used primarily for front end suspension work although they can be useful for other things. The Nepros angle wrenches use the same angles as Snapon angle wrenches.

Thank you sir.I have my wrenches laid out because I'm ocd!All my pliers, screwdrivers, cresents, brake tools, etc. have their own drawers, although they're not nearly as neat as the wrenches. My sockets are all in 1 drawer and they look pretty tidy.
