A mix of Armstrong, SK, Craftsman with an occasional SnapOn. SAE in the first drawer, Metric in the second and the third drawer is Rest of World with a total mix of manufacturers.

Wow this thread makes me sad. There are way to many wrenches out there that aren't in my tool box. Vintage Snap-On and Plomb, Gray wrenches, all kinds of goodness. At least I haven't spotted any tubular handled wrenches with the detachable ends, or any of the xl Snap-On flex-head wrenches (OH series), otherwise I would be really jealous.

I really like this mix of wrenches, and they way they are laid out in the drawers. Looks like a nice selection of obstruction wrenches as well.

Man Dex, you have some enviable round handle goodness going on here! What brand are the deep offsets that are nested and setting on their sides? In particular I am looking at the three larger ones on the right side of the screen running up and down?

Those would be Blue Point Boxosocket. The bulk of the others are Gray Canada.

My Dad bought it back in the mid 90's at a tool store called "Crazy Benzy's".
That store closed up and reopended under "Performance Tools" and there was a chain of them up until recently and now they are down to one store in Waterford, MI.

Ahh man. I remember those. I grew up in Allen Park down the street from Crazy Benzy's. There was actually a toy store there before it that sold Brio (little wooden trains). But yeah, I loved Performance too. Cool store. I bought my IR impacts there and my first circular saw and power drill.

I should take some new pictures as I have added probably 10 or 20 more wrenches since I bought these.

SAE Drawer: Mostly Proto, Challenger or Armstrong with some others thrown in

Metric Drawer: Mostly Allen or Proto or Craftsman

Whew! That's all I have pictures of. I know that I missed some Snap-on Torx box wrenches, Craftsman adjustables, a few Wright, Blackhawk, Matco, Armstrong, and some antiques that are boxed up.

I already went out to my box and created a nice little place for those to hang out when you decide it is time to sell those to me! Let not your heart be troubled, I have a special place for them. I also have some ideas of how to put them to work so they are not viewed as collectables, or display items!

I have the Craftsman saltus wrench set also with a few added on. Believe it or not, those big box ratchet wrenches are Craftsman in the 2nd picture. IIRC, they start at 1" and go up. The box is clean now. These were taken before the end of my shift when she got a good wipe down. I expect a few of the gun guys (builders) will know what the two gadgets are in the second picture.

Feel embarrassed? No need to. You have a nice collection of tools going. I'll bet it's taken most of these fellows years (and thousands of $$$) to gather what you see. I don't work on cars (much) but I do on these:

I'm still sorting mine out, last pic is a bucket I just bought this morning... can't think why...unless any of you have any idea why I should buy a bucket full of spanners when I already have plenty :)

These pics are not their final resting place and not the sets I keep in the car.

Dynodale,

Man hath not created nor positioned a fastener that could escape the wrath and fury of your wrench collection.
