I got myself that set of Knuckle Savers, metric size 7 mm to 15 mm on Flea Bay. Now all I need to do is to hail the truck down and then get the rest of the wrenches to finish the set...

I am a Snap On dude like the rest of us here, but Knuckle Savers are a nice set of wrenches.)

I got the Gearwrench set from Piper from the secret santa thing. My wife bought me a set of Knipex precision snap ring pliers, Knipex needle nose and the rebaged Craftsman 2 piece plier set that are Knipex Cobras.

I also got a $50 Sears gift card that will be used for tools. Last night on Ebay I found some UNBEATABLE deals on Knipex, $29 for 16" Cobras, $14.99 for 12" Cobras and $14.99 for Knipex Snipe needle nose, all new.

I did some research in the past on the Craftsman cable/hose clamp pliers and the results of what I found out is posted here; anyone remember this thread? http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17030&showall=1
This is the french OEM company http://www.gillet-tools.com/; the company that Sears is getting them from seems to be Mayhew and the pliers are on this page towards the bottom: http://www.mayhew.com/new_products.htm

On another topic: nordstar, I would love to see you start another thread with a visual "overview" of your proto catalogs! The graphics are just too cool! If you are willing I'm sure we would all love to see inside your christmas catalogs! :)

Bolster, that "War Finish" sure is pretty. I don't have any of those yet. That Hitachi saw you got sure does look dangerous, it almost looks like it come from an alien ship. Looks aside I bet they are great tools, I am after the makita li-ion tools.

I got a set of CM Professional stubby metric combo wrenches, two SK metric flare nut wrenches to complete the ones missing from my set, a couple of pairs of Bessy welding magnets, long handled sealed head Snap On ratchet, and a bunch of gift cards for Sears and Home Depot. I'm psyched!

Used a HD gift card to get the Ryobi Impact driver -- they were out of batteries though, so I'll have to wait until next week before I can actually use it.

Scored the MATCO Pitman arm puller set for "peanuts" on CL.

You will like the Ryobi Impact, I use mine all the time. That little led light is real handy for under the dash work.

These are the tools I got this year. The Dewalt radio and knives are from my dad. The Nutdrivers are from my Grandpa. The Drill/ bit set is from my uncle, and the rest was bought with a Gift card from my sister.
