A while ago I saw an ad somewhere (maybe on the GJ) saying that Craftsman Industrial tools was going to offer double box end wrenches with a ratcheting end and a fixed 12 point box end. Anyone else see this ad? Were those wrenches ever produced?

I like the premise of this thread....Craftsman Industrial tools. Okay. But I can't seem to figure out why you keep posting stock photos instead of YOUR actual Cman Industrial tools. Let's see what Cman Industrial tools YOU have in YOUR box. Enough of the stock photos. Let's see what you have.

Jim C.

I have what is in the stock photos and I don't want to have to dig them all out and take pictures of them at the moment. The stock photos are good pictures. However, I did pull out a few of the open stock tools I have an took the following picture of them. Maybe I will take some pictures of some of them soon and post them. Meanwhile you should post some pics of yours.

I took a snapshot of them. Are these the same thing you were asking about? They are supposed to be available in 2016......maybe march.

Hey Travis!! Good to hear from you. I think you've been "sand bagging" us, and letting us think that you're a serious Channellock collector only. However, now we're finding out that along with what is probably the best and most diverse NOS collection of Channellocks on the GJ, you also have a real nice collection of Cman Industrial tools as well. You have some really great stuff. *** rated tool **** for sure!! I'm now TWICE as envious of your tool collection. Anything else we should know about?

Jim C.

Ha, thanks Jim! I do have other tool obsessions, but we shouldn't talk about them!:thumbup::pimpflash

Hey Travis,

I really like how you're storing those cross-force wrenches! How to store them was one of my concerns and partially influenced my decision not to buy during the Sears Outlets clearance. Great idea!

Thanks! I held off on buying the cross force wrenches for awhile until I could figure out how to store them. I'm satisfied with the result! ;)

I took a snapshot of them. Are these the same thing you were asking about? They are supposed to be available in 2016......maybe march.

Gotta get those!!!

Here's a portable set I started to assemble but have not taken the time to finish it. It has some open stock and sets of other tools in it. I just haven't made up my mind on what to included in it.

I did post a photo of what I have... Go back and take a look. I also wrote a comment when I added the original (non stock) photo of my one and only wrench set. It's pretty clear what I have and why. Good thing a few guys took the time to "dig out" their Cman Industrial tools and then post original (non stock) photos, otherwise, this thread would **** (in a bad way).

I like the thread, and some of you guys have some great collections of Cman Industrial tools, but I'm not sure why the OP essentially posted a bunch of photos that depict tools that aren't his..... Did I miss something? Anyway, here's what I have; one set of SAE combo wrenches that range in size from 1/4" to 1". I got them a few years ago when Sears had sets on clearance at their outlet stores. By the time I got to the outlet near my house, the selection was pretty well picked over. Still, I was happy to get this set at a good price.

Jim C.

Those FP combination wrenches are nice. Sounds like you got a good deal at the outlet. I just purchased a few more tools from the outlet the other day. They had some professional screwdrivers and sockets among other things with pretty good prices on them.

I've got a Craftsman Industrial drill somewhere but can't seem to find it. Might be out in my shed. Looks something like this (without the case).

It's pretty old and has held up OK over the years. I like Milwaukee drills better though.

A few places sell them like Tool Barn and others. Sears has some on their website.

http://www.sears.com/deals/GDOs.html

You should call the factory and ask them when they will be shipping. The factory might still be trying to get over the flooding and other problems.

Better yet, try contacting the following people and ask them where to buy and ask if there are any delays in shipping. You can download a catalog also.

Thanks guys! How do they compare in terms of quality to SK, Armstrong, Wright, Proto and Williams?
