Recently i had to do some tough work where i had to screw in a lot of screws by hand:eyecrazy:.
So i went to my tool box to pick out one of my mint and expensive hazet screwdrivers:drool:. As i put in the first screw i thought that i will surely ruin my nice screwdriver till the work is done:willy_nil so i searched my tool box for a cheap screwdriver but there was none inside. After a while i remembered that i got a yellow one which was so ugly :shocking: that i simply didnt want to put it into my toolbox to the „nice“stuff.

Although the cheap yellow screwdriver performed very well during abuse it looks so stupid and ugly that i still dont want to take the risk to put it into my toolbox because it disturbs the nice appearance of the other tools:dunno:.

Do you also have a tool which looks so ugly that you banned it out of your toolbox or even out of your mind?

I am so totally lost that I don't know where to begin.... You bought expensive screwdrivers, that are easily damaged, so that when tough jobs come up, you can fall back to your cheap ones? What is the point?

I use my best tools in the hardest situations. And my Chinese screwdrivers get used as pry bars and punches they also work great to clean the equipment of mud and dirt. If I have to drive lots of screws I use my Matco or wera drivers and if they wear out from one project I expect a warranty exchange!

I will PM you the address for the official "riff raff/dirty tools disposal site" later. No need to even clean them; we take care of all the haz-mat procedures...

When it comes to tools it seems that i am a little bit too estetic. So surely i had to pay several thousands of euros for a psychiatrist :lol_hitti till he gets me to the point where i can say: i love this yellow beauty of a screwdriver and it surely will fit perfectly into my hazet and gedore tools.
If i had to spend such a huge amount of money then definitely not on a psychiatrist but on nice looking tools.

Here in my town we have no toolshop, so it is not easy for me to replace one of those hazet screwdrivers. i have a large set of them and the all have the same grip with same colour. They look very nice in my toolbox among the other hazet and gedore tools. So i use these screwdrivers only for normal work on my car etc.... where i know that it wont be completely damaged after work is done.

For the harakiri tasks i usually use old, cheap tools like this yellow no name screwdriver which really looks so ugly.

Am i the only one here who has an ugly tool or am i too estetic?
