Can you give us some close-up pics of the benches? These are new to me, and I am fascinated.

IT will be a while I am traveling this weekend
The benches were an import from Germany and
Hein Warner / Blackhawk brought them over for a
Test run in the collision industry trade show Nace
I talked them into selling me the set up after the show
Don,t know of any other set up in the u.s.
I do love it well lit and sturdy

Some lawsuit era Plomb and Proto boards. I would guess they're from that time because a Proto sticker was just slapped over the old Plomb logo.

The Grand-Daddy of all Plomb Tool boards, think it was from the 1943 Plomb catalog:

Found this board at the antique faire today. Didn't buy it though but I got a picture for you guys. Never heard of that brand of tool but the board looked cool!

I wouldn't mind getting a big tool board with a cool logo at the top, but then no specific outlines or hangers for tools... i'd like to have a named board, and be free to hang what I want, where I want it, on the board.

I could use that in my shop, and use the tools on it.

And here are the last of the boards I have. Easco was $1 at auction and the Proto was given to me. Loved that score! The Proto is one big board about 6 foot tall and 3/4" drive size.

Instead of starting a new thread,I will try to revive this thread, and share some tool boards you folks may not have seen. These are tool boards from Duro and TrueCraft that my late stepdad got back in the 90s and put up in his garage. After he passed away we sold off all the tools that were there, but the tool boards stayed since he had nailed them to the wall and there would be no easy way to get them off.Since then they have become a catch all for my moms stuff and the few tools she has.I may take a run at pulling the boards off of the wall since my mom does not want them any more.

Here are some of my extras that aren't hung up. There are also a couple S-K boards and 3 or 4 others hanging around somewhere.

Nice boards but they look like they need some tools .

I hate Garage Journal...... I have to find some boards, so that I can explain to my wife that I have an obligation to fill them.

I wonder if she'll buy that one

Time for an update to this thread. Spent the morning getting "some" of my boards up off the floor. Now I'm digging through boxes and hanging tools all day.

Notice the holes on the Williams board above. I believe this board was part of a "carousel" type display, thus the mounting holes on the side.

Tin Medic sent me this Barcalo board and I filled it from my Barcalo collection. Thanks again, Tin!

Thanks, Todd. He picked it up on eBay and was nice enough to pass it along to me. It will be mounted proudly on my garage wall.

Looks like my new Williams board is older than I thought. Quick research indicates the use of "The Wrench People" from about 1911 - 1933.
