TNortherntool says in the website that they will ship outside the United States and with the price of $54,99 (clamp in the picture) it might be worthwhile.

I sent them an email and I asked how much the shipping costs are for this item

I got the answer... :bounce:

Hello XXXXXX,

The shipping charges on your order will be $180.74 U.S. Dollars. This is the amount for the freight charge only

But the problem is resolved. I ordered today 2 Bessey WSM-12 9-1/2-Inch Welders Angle Clamps from Finland. Price was 180 EUR = 203.49 USD each. Shipping was only about 15 dollars.

Nice clamp, but crazy expensive!

I went the cheap route. Bought two of these from Harbor Freight. $7 each on sale!

I should have bought 4... I'll get two more when they go on sale again.

Yes, Bessey clamps are expensive but hopefully also strong

I found similar cheap clamps from here but maximum jaw opening: 2-5/8 in is not enough. House boat frame structure will be 4-inch steelbars, so i need big angle clamps.

Does any company in the US have an assortment of clamps like strong hand tools that are top quality

I'm not aware of any. I will tell you though, don't be concerned about Strong Hand being of less quality because they are not made in the USA. They make very, very good stuff. I have used & abused their stuff for a long time. Never have I had an issue.

I'll second that. The corner clamps I have are Strong Hands and they're very well made as are all the other styles of Strong Hand clamps I have. The only Strong Hand criticism I have is that sometimes I feel their magnets are a little on the weak side.

I'm really wanting to get one (or a couple) of this one. I thinks it's a new design and I can't find anybody who's selling it yet.

I will agree with that on their Adjust-O Square magnets. Especially the small ones. I do like the large 90° degree dual switch Adjust-O. One of my most used and the magnet is going strong for about 8-years

i bought a pair of the smaller ones and im actually surprised at how often i reach for them, now i just need to stop being a cheapass and buy one of the adjust o angle magnets they sell, $200 is a hard one to swallow for a magnet though! http://www.stronghandtools.com/stronghandtools/products/adjustoangle.php

Neat table ... homemade? Pictures?

Yes it is homemade. I got the table from my friend and make some modification to it. I have had several stainless steal projects lately and needed suitable welding table for them so i made a stainless removable grill (I'm not sure if it's the right word for this purpose :D ) that is bolted to the table. It´s bit of heavy to remove but now i can use table for both metal, stainless and normal. Caps on the grill are designed for clamping.

a few poor quality phone picture

Some work from my utility trailer project last night.

I mocked up the tongue, decided on a tongue length and welded the coupler on, then took a pie cut out of the sides and 45- degreed the ends with caps.

The 45-degree ends with caps are merely for aesthetics.

Clamped the tongue in place and pulled a line with a plumb bob for the tongue centerline to ensure it is in line with the axle centerline and trailer centerline.

Some more random welds from last nights work.

I've been bitten by the Dragon Fly "Bug". I've made a half dozen or so and I'm finding that no two are going to be exactly alike. Wish I'd gotten into it before now! So far it's been fun.

Finally got around to making straps for my gas bottle on the welding cart. It was a lot more involved than I at first thought it would be. Don't know what, exactly made it take so long but I was on it most evenings last week and all day Sunday to get it finished and I haven't painted it yet. I'm thinking gloss black would look good.

Very small project, but I used some scrap to modify the MAP sensor bracket to make a mounting for my fuel pressure gauge. I like how it turned out.

This was a metal and wood project. I wanted an inexpensive way to mount a reclaimed beam as a mantle. I had all the steel so I came up with thisIMG_0277.jpg

It's a walkie stacker. Biggest problem with it is the legs are so damn wide it can't fit alot of the tighter places in the shop.

Rotary pipe/sqr tube attachment. Long tube there is for pipe support. Gantry will be wide enough to reach right over to that and plan is handle about 16" dia pipe or any sqr/rect tubing that fits within that circle.

Little 2'x3' welding table here. 1/2" thick top and all 1.5" .120 wall tubing that I had for another project that never came to fruition.

Using it to put together it's big brother, which will be the same height and 28"x60". It's SO nice to be building this one on a good work surface.

Obligatory bead shot. All TIG because I need the practice.

After again nearly driving off the front of the trailer loading my buggy I decided it was time to stop procrastinating and build the wheel stop I sketched up a few months ago.

It needs a couple more braces that I will put in during the week. And no you don't get to see the welds, there is a reason they are ground back and painted!

I've been planning to make this shelf for a few months. It'll fit in one of the compartments on our ladder tower at the FD. It will get bolted to the back of the compartment and hopefully free up some floor space for the K12 saw.

Wood stick is just to hold it up for the picture. The paint cans are for reference and the boxes will hold stuff for the Stihl chainsaw and the other for the petrogen torch. I guess I should mention that in lieu of the paint cans will be the two 1 gal gas cans.

How does this attach to the fireplace? I need a mantle in my basement but haven't yet figured out how I want to attach it to the bricks.

The pins on the steel portion slide in and out of the mantle. Secure the steel portion to the wall ( level). Slide the mantle over the pins. If you want to take the mantle down just slide it back out. Hope that explains it.
