Does anyone at GJ heat their garage with wood? Where do you keep your split wood? I only have wood fireplace in my house, no stove. Here's my handy wood stack just outside the front door. In the past, I've designed a lot of nifty wood storage areas, inside adjacent to the firebox, outside under cover against the house (BE CAREFUL OF TERMITES), and as part of an outdoor barbecue.

Here is mine, only take it inside as needed. No bugs in the house.

Time to start looking again, shed is nearly empty.

And here's the other pile. Just a little clearance from the masonry. Had squirrel make a nest on the inside of the stack one year.

This is mine. I go through about 2 rows each winter. Mostly oak and maple which is in abundant supply around here (Northern Michigan)

Two rows of about 6 cords each drying, one row gets put in the wood shed each Spring and a new row stacked. Basically 2 years of drying before it gets burned.
Other rack is the Summer campfire wood, just pine and whatever **** I clean up every Fall.

Here's a post I can show off in it!

Heat the house and pole building with wood mainly. All free looking around.

Nice 10' lean-to to store it under too.
