Here is one of my benches it moves up or down depending on what height I need for a project.
Look behind the bench. I am in the process of reorganizing my entire shop. My A.D.D. took over and I found something better to do so I pulled parts out of the paint booth and started assembly of an old oil pump.

I tend to leave my bench a mess after a project, so every time I start something new, the first thing I have to do is clean it.

Glad to hear I am not the only one with ADD in the garage. Every time I try to get stuff cleaned up I find another project to tear apart and dont get back to what I was originally doing

This is my basement shop and here's my motorcycle 'Motor' bench as it looks tonight.

Of course that's not a motor on my motor bench but a rear drive off my old lawn tractor. Its on there because I'm moving everything around to make more room for more projects that I need to get done yesterday.

Doing one of the jobs this bench was designed for, servicing lawn mowers. Got mine propped up right now to clean the deck after mowing.

Holy cow. How do you know how to put it back together?

It has been quite a job. I have a friend who wanted me to trade engines from one T to another. One ran great but didn't have a starter and the one with a starter hadn't run in years. the car with out the starter is more fun than the other one so that's the reason for the switch. When I got the one apart for some inspection I found a broken reverse drum and had to take the entire transmission apart. This pic is after I got the trans back together. You should have seen the table in the middle of that. LOL

Here is mine. In the middle of a gear swap and just got done rebuilding my steering box.
I'm gonna build a bigger bench eventually but it's serving the purpose right now.

Working on a blown head gasket on the Green Demon (JD D110)... Spent a good chunk of time scraping bits of gasket from the block, then turned my attention to the head that was sitting on the dirty bench.

Both benches a workin' on a new bed ....

The first is my main bench, with one bed beam in clamps, the second has already been glued up.

The second has all of the roughed leg (but not cut to length) leg stock. On top of them is the fence from my sliding table, busy being out of the way.

More bed action....

First up, a messy mini-lathe station. Just as an FYI, construction grade Douglas Fir doesn't really turn all that well.

Next up, my main bench with the bed beams on it, 5 leg blanks ready for turning, and 4 turned legs. Of course, the obligatory assorted tools, measuring devices, and other such bric brac is also on the bench.

Finally, the view from the other end of the bench.

This is my main welding, woodworking, and other project area. The welding bench is 8ft long, and the stainless is 5ft. I like having the work bench where I can work from all sides and with large projects I usually set them across both benches.

This bench is used mostly for reloading and firearm work:
