I know, I know.  Everyone on TGJ has a perfect garage, right?

Oh come on, that's no fun!  There have to be at least a few of you who have a mess on your hands.  And we understand, we...

Rick, I think you've made some improvement on it since the pictures were taken. You managed to get me to take some stuff out of there and put in mine, that doesn't do much for getting mine all neat and organized! LOL

That's true! I should take a picture of mine but I'm not sure I have room to get in the door to take a picture now.

I can't believe it! Finally someone actually wants to see my crapped out garage. I came here for ideas because I am about to move and I am attempting to get a fresh start and prevent some of the mayhem that my current and previous garages have known. I know it can't last though. I'll try to get some photos up tomorrow.

You actually caught me at a "good" time for this as my whole shop is torn apart while I'm trying to work at improving it:

A large part of the reason for the disarray - trying to move things out of the way to finish the hardwood floor in the woodshop upstairs:

A few more of mine in the current state, plus a couple of pics to prove it's really mine (like anyone else would claim it).

I'm lovin' this contest. Good reference so I can show my wife that my garage isn't that bad!

I am at least feeling better about mine :D . With all the show garages here I was starting to wonder if I was the only one who actually had **** in their garage besides a pretty car LOL.

I'm just getting twitchy to start building mine...

meanwhile I'm tidying up the workshop I have. Yes, some of you have shamed me at last.
But keep them coming, lovely to look at.

sorry man, it's got sentimental value. However, it does weigh in at about 200 lbs, so if it ever breaks off that rickety bench and smashes my toes I might give you a call. does come in handy though, i've used it to hold everything from washers to complete engines.

No, +1 for Will's t-shirt tipple; I'd need 10 Guinness just to set foot in that disaster zone!

After 10 Guinness, you might not fit through the door :lol_hitti

I'm trying to figure out the best way to organize the small space. I am making progress, although it may not look like it right now.

Well he is my mess and the cause for it, he may look small but he is destructive, that's my story and I am sticking to it.

:lol_hitti Just spent almost 2 days cleaning mine ! It was BAD !

I will get pictures of mine up, but I have a 28 x 32 and I have 1 month planned for cleaning.

Just to start with, I have a 1954 F-100, 1977 F-250 Supercab 4x4, half of a 1989 Thunderbird Supercoupe, 1996 Kawasaki Vulcan, 2008 Chinese scooter, 1999 Yamaha Grizzly, 2 motors, 4 axles, and more parts than I even know.

I got too much chit.

I guess this is an nice first post... I'm a motor cycle guy, and so far I've painted the walls, put up shelving, and I just recently epoxied the floor. Looking at insulating the garage door so I can freeze just a little less while working out there this winter...

Put a quarter into the little slot in the front of your computer, and you will be able to view the pictures....:lol_hitti
Someone said that they wished that there was a garage make over show. There was one on TV a few years ago. They throw out almost all of your stuff, and then put back a few items neatly. I think that they ran out of people's homes to work with...

This thread was destined to bring us all out of the woodwork, so here's another packrat's shop to add to the mix. Sometimes we like to play 'where's waldo' in our garage. We have 5 full size vehicles in here. Can you find them?? :bounce:

I heard these places where out there....I just never believed it! How can you keep a garage like that? Most likely it's someone who can't work in there anymore and the stuff just got piles in and left....no?

And Archangel - you didn't get the thread - this one's for junk-piles...yours belongs in the 'nice' files!

And is it JUST ME - or is it kinda weird to see pictures of the guys who post on here?

Too much stuff, too little time and space. I work in mine all the time, and pretty much know where everything is. One man's junk...etc...

Sorry if posting my pic scared your kids :lol_hitti
