A couple more weeks and I should be done with these tubs.

They look like this complete.

Is that a kit? Got a link? They look like some serious fun.

Came acorss this picture and just could not resist posting it.

It's me right out of high school building the original jeep that started it all for me.

I don't know what I was thinking looking back now!!! I was "fixing" the shop while trying to build the jeep.:lol_hitti:lol_hitti

You can see the green glow of the tarp I was using as a door. Needless to say the shop didn't ever really get finished.......till...... Summer 2011:thumbup::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce:

Here is my current project. This is an original and unrestored 59 Bel Air. Texas car with 70,000 miles on it. The car had add on A/C installed in 1964 by Montgomery Ward. I am in the process of installing an LS1 / 4L60E from a 2001 Camaro, C5 Corvette brakes, Air Ride suspension, Here is a bunch of the build pics. It is intention to build the car for a REAL driver. I will keep all of the original patina along with the under dash A/C (mate it with the LS1)

My long-term project, a '36 Ford coupe.

These old pics were taken just before de-construction; now "fixing" the half-baked mods a couple of brothers performed so long ago.....

My '62Tbird between life getting in the way and lack of interest it sat for 3 years in the garage. Now I'm back on it . I'd like to do a mild '60's custom, tube grille some pinstripes and torque thrust wheels.

I started building this a few years ago if you take into account starting to scrounge for parts. Assembly actually started last summer and pictured is where it ended last summer after taking a back seat to some fall/winter projects. Now that spring is here it's time to get it back on the table and finish it.

Currently it's 4 wheel drive powered by an electric mobility chair transmission and speed control. I took the drive train design from some of the Honda powered rock buggies. The differentials are from front wheel drive self propelled lawn mowers. It has 4 link front and rear suspension with strong arms for air shocks. I tried to design and build it to handle my son's weight and a car seat along with a small cooler, but it hold me at 190 lbs. I have some work to do on the steering and I have to finish up the cage, get two new batteries since I forgot to unplug them over the winter... And install the solar panel for recharging it when it's parked.

its pretty common with ''rat choppers'' i guess. places actually are trying to sell "kits" for it. its just some clear fuel line, and 2 brass 90's from the plumbing section. i made the bungs to weld in out of some steel stock. just a easy way to know how much, without looking in the tank, and i think it looks cool.

I can't help but think of what would happen should you go down on that bike. So many sharp metal objects coming out of it. Then again, I'm usually geared up head to toe in leathers, race boots, full gauntlet gloves, and a full face helmet. I'm paranoid as **** riding on the street. The track is so much safer.

I prefer working on tools more than vehicles quite often as they tend to be less frustrating. My biggest acquisition since moving to the midwest. Found this for $250 up in Chicago a few weeks after arriving. There are cleaning/rebuild pics in my album on here if any are interested. Im not a fan of the blue, nor did I paint it, but until I get out of suburbia and buy a house it likely will remain. My Firebird will be moving here soon, so this might get stuck on the backburner in the coming weeks.

Good looking tube frame, but I really like the monster lathe in the background. What type of work is done there?

Here is my golf cart that I raised from the dead. It sat on it's side for 3 years with a messed up engine. It is all done now and is a cheap support vehicle for the track.
