Most are homemade, some are my firsts (the orange and black series), some are in progress (the top center, just hardened needing tempering), the kitchen knives in the center I'm quite proud of. I just love cooking with them. You get a little better every time. All 1084 steel from Nj Steel Baaron

Oops, exception, are some working knives at the bottom. Great working knives.

I love that M9 bayonet, I'm trying to find a real one. All I can find are cheap replicas.

You'll have your work cut out for you for sure. My father got that one for me at a surplus store in the early 90s, I haven't seen an M9 since then.

I've seen one or two but they are always asking like 300 for them. If it was 200 I might buy them. I don't even think that they are rare.

I have many knives. I used to collect but can't afford it anymore. At least not for the custom knives. This one is my favorite, bought in the mid 90's. Made by Steve Likarich.

I have a lot of knives, but this is the only one worth showing off. This one gets carried often, and abused on a regular basis. I don't feel bad about it, either.

I don't so much collect knives as accumulate them. All of the knives I buy get carried and abused, except for the ones that I discover I dislike for some reason. Those I usually end up giving away.

some really nice knives in here, I've always wanted a CR Sebenza but can't really justify the cost.
These are some that I've made.

^^^^ wow... just ebayed the price of a sebenza knife

It is by far the nicest pocket knife I own, and not because of what I paid for it. I think Chris Reeve has adequately demonstrated that you really can make a better pocket knife.

Does it cut any better than my Spyderco knives? No, assuming they're all the same level of sharpness. But it is a work of art you carry in your pocket. Not unlike a nice mechanical watch.

Just youtubed a few chris reeve reviews and they certainly look like an awesome piece of kit... wish I could justify owning one... ive got a couple of cheap liner locks but what I always find to be the problem is I always prefer carrying my leatherman wave. In the event that I do carry the folding knife its inevitable that I need to pull something with a pair of pliers!!!

One of my favorites, a Kershaw Needs Work. It isn't particularly good looking. It leads a hard life in my pocket, being my go to tool for pretty much anything that needs to be cut, stripped, scraped, or opened. Tape, cardboard, plastic bags, wire, and a whole lot of rubber valve stems. I can't even remember how many times I have sharpened it. This is my second one. My first one I gave to my brother, wish I had kept it now.

As I understand it, that's very much the design philosophy of that particular knife. So I guess you bought the right knife. ;)

Here are most of mine(left to right): a Buck 500, 2 Gerber's, a Winchester and a case and the other one doesn't have anything on it.

I collect case cheetah knives but have accumulated a lot of tactical knives, but the tactical knives get used/edc.
