Got these cool ratchets from HF:

IMG_2851.jpg

They are even extendable to six different length positions, depending on how much torque you need:

Also picked these up from Sears:

Less than $40 for everything I mentioned :D

I've had a few deliveries this week. :D

Wiha Drive-Loc Screwdriver Set
SK Tools metric combo wrenches
SK Tools 1/4" metric socket set and ratchet
SK Tools 3/8" drive flex-head ratchet
SK Tools splined combo ratchet set
Wera Zyklop 1/4" SAE socket set (very, very awesome)
Wera Kraftform stainless steel screwdrivers
Wera 1/4" hex driver bit set and ratchet

The SK stuff will go in my new Hazet Assistent. The Wiha screwdrivers are for one of my tool rolls (for taking on the road). The Wera Zyklop set was a bit of a mistake -- I meant to order metric, and flubbed it somehow. It's too nice to send back, though, so I'm keeping it.

These just arrived today. I must admit that I'm very, very impressed with these drivers.

The only "negative" associated with these might be in regards to their handle size...just a tad bit small on the Phillips 2 and 6.5mm Slotted drivers.

With all that being said, I will be looking at expanding into the rest of the Felo Ergonic line-up.

Fresh off the truck...SHR80. Snappy guy even had the orange/black handle on there for me when I picked it up! Marred the selector switch when he put it in the vise but i won't cry too much about it as he didn't charge me for the handle. The pliers are 908ACP's. Nice little set.

I got a few Channellocks, my old Craftsman 5 piece set was getting worn out, and I've been meaning to build a good Channellock set.

Picked up the HF 1/2" clicker yesterday.

Also picked up a 3-piece set of Stanly FatMax wood chisels. Made in England version - not Chinese.

brianpgriset, digging that new set of ChannelLocks. Nice!

I finally broke down and bought a new Bayco cord reel from Home Depot (it was even cheaper than a similar cord reel at HF!). Had a Sears gift card from my last birthday that I was saving, decided to use it on a 21-piece Craftsman drive tool accessory set (# 42283).

Wright D978 arrived today. I put adhesive-lined heatshrink on the pegs and mounted it to my pegboard (mounting is hidden, the hooks at the bottom are just to keep the bottom snug against the pegboard).

It's next to my D980 set.

Very nice....little envious

Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know they're nothing "special" in terms of being a big fancy name...but at the price I got them at and considering the overall comprehensiveness of the set, I definitely can't complain! And, to top it all off...I have my wife to thank for purchasing this for me as an early Christmas present!

43 piece raised panel Craftsman wrench set. All for under 160 shipped to my front door! :3gears:

Few small items over the last few days. Earnhardt set (put the car in my little guys collection) 3/4-1 line wrench and fh936 ratchet came from EBay -I slipped a new handle on the ratchet as it was shot. Klein scissors and knife were bought locally.

Just picked up this set of Plomb sockets, I think I might be a vintage tool junkie someday, but this is my first vintage tool acquisition.
Set isn't complete, but I love the box and it's patina. There is a late 40's early 50's Snap-On 1/4" ratchet with it, not the original Plomb. Sockets have an interesting design, the fit onto what looks like a standard allen wrench, but the allen wrench has a locking ball on each end. The 1/4" breaker bar is also Snap-On, but it has the cool handle that turns it into the "T"

Just picked up this Klein ratcheting screwdriver today from a local store. I guess its their new design. It's made in Taiwan but it's a very nice tool nonetheless. It's almost like a cross between a normal ratcheting screwdriver and a 6 in one screwdriver as the shaft is removable. It came with 2 Robertson tips and a flat and philips tip. The shaft also serves as a nut driver. Worth checking out for sure IMHO.

here's mine.

the other day i wanted some different screwdrivers for my copier service case. the old green handle ames screwdrivers didn't offer much grip. i wish pittsburgh professional offered a magnetic 5.5mm nut driver, i'll have to keep the ames. i also wanted a ratcheting screwdriver scrictly for my service case. i leave the snap-on at the shop so i don't leave it somewhere. i picked up an 8pc set from harbor freight. put the philips and the ratcheting screwdriver in the case and put the flat heads in the tool box at home.

i also picked up a pair of pittsburgh professional chinese needle nose pliers as a trial. if they're decent i might buy the whole line for my tool box at home. if they turn out to be junk, it'll cost more, i'll stick to the american made pliers.

i also picked up some line wrenches, a fuel pressure gauge, a tap and die set which i plan to use for repairing threads, and some uni-bits

FAR25A ratchet is brand new. Got it for more than half off the truck price (ebay).
Hammers are used, but still very useable.
Oiler... I found it in my shop. Cleaned it up, and I'm going to use it for my air tool oil.
NOS black S-O handles I bought from a member here. One is going to be used on a dual 80 3/8" bent flex head, and not sure about the other.
