Kmart Auto 15/16 wrench.
Go this in a lot I bought from ebay and it fills a gap in my SAE set which is sort of Secondary because I so seldom ever come across SAE bolts so my SAE set is going to be a mix bag of sort.
This feels like a solid wrench.
KMART+ Auto made in Japan.

I also , got some Sears made in Japan wrenches and ones made in Taiwan too , im going to guess 80s as the quality of the ones made in Taiwan is nowhere near that of the Japan wrenches nor my Ampro set from Taiwan and reminds me just how much the Taiwansese products have improved since the 80s.

Pics of the Kmart Auto wrench.

There's a couple of plugs on my buddys 70 (383)Challenger with headers that are a real PITA
we use a lift to get some from underneath, and all kinds of angles and tool configurations to try and get at.

I'm going to watch him try this next time, see if it helps any, might be just enough the get a wrench on a little easier.

I have that same bit set. The quick-change bit holder is very well machined and a unique form. Nice haul there.

New Makita battery SDS (bottom) to replace the identical one I killed with a 4” core bit. I bought the little one (top) a few months ago to replace the dead one, but I’ve been missing the power of the original. The little one is nice and light thou, great for using one handed.

Yes I have the dewalt equivalent of the compact and I love it. Perfect for the little concrete fasteners. Makes masonry drilling on a ladder slightly less unpleasant :bounce:

IMG_8027.jpegIMG_8028.jpegIMG_8029.jpegOrdered more DieHard stuff on Tuesday. Arrived today. 1/4 ratchet coming from a different warehouse so still waiting on it. I’ve been loving the DieHard ratchets. My coworker loves his that he bought so I’ve been buying a bit of everything they have to try out. My next try will be vise grips and hammers probably. The ratchets and sockets are really nice and hold up very well. I wanted to give the screwdrivers a try. The pliers are also very nice and durable I have a few sets already. Excited to try the screwdrivers and new ratchets out too.

Finally got to use these today, snap on dealer said nobody ever ordered a set. LOL.

Used the 1/4 drive to torque a cam sensor on an N54.

Dammit. Garage Journal strikes again. Gonna start with the 3/8 as that will probably be my most used...
I love that they tell you the center to center measurement too! Easy torque calculation.

Some additions to the punch drawer. Not sure how useful the interchangeable set will be but have been interested in adding it to the box for some time. The spring punches are at least a USA set.

Have you used the spring punches? Do they work well on steel?

I love those spring punches, had them 15,20 years I don’t think I have ever used the chisel, lol.

Damn, I need one of these for my SBC with headers. Such a pain in the *** to remove spark plugs.

Just goofed around with them, they put a decent peck in steel with one pull. Minimal effort, should be a nice addition to the kit. The only one I have doubts about is the cold chisel one, it leaves a dent in my test scrap, but I can’t imagine a scenario where it would be better than a hammer driven chisel.

IMG_8039.jpegWarranty replacement DieHard 12mm 3/8 shallow socket. My friend had chrome peeling on his. Took it in for warranty for him. So technically not my new socket but just wanted to post about warranty. They just done like Sears would do back when they were around and took the tag off the new one and put the old one on it and gave you this one. Old socket posted below.IMG_8018.jpeg

Had a gift card with some money left on it , so I put it towards this spill free funnel setGEDC2074.JPG

Those are really handy. Makes it easy to flush and fill radiator without spilling a drop. In this pic you can see I looped a cord around the bottom of the funnel to the wiper for extra support because I didn't quite trust those plastic press fit connections being able to support the weight of a funnel full of coolant

Blake, they offer a heavy-duty thru-tang screwdriver that you desperately need to go with the set you bought.
Its on a hang tag by itself over with the loose screwdrivers. 5/16x8" slotted. #DH50101
Get your hands on one ASAP.

The spring-loaded universal joints are a gem too!

Very cool. I hadn’t paid much attention to either of those.

I believe that's from that show "Big Bang Theory" that was on network TV. I wasn't really a fan of the show, but saw a few of the episodes over the years.

Now about that other genre, there must have been a "Big ********* Theory" :ROFLMAO:

I know, I know you can't discuss it here.

I bought a complete set several years ago at SEMA. They work really well. They aren’t something I use often but there’s been occasions where there was no chance of swinging a hammer to strike a regular center punch with and these were perfect.

One of the many, many times I'm glad that I live under a rock...
