I cant make up mind if I want the HC50 or the Zebralight H600FW Mk II or H602W. Those Zebralights put out a whopping 1000 lumens but are more expensive. I was thinking of using mine for some outdoor activities as well.

I have an older version H600W and have an H602W coming tomorrow. I like the H600W but it was a spot and not nice for working up close, The H602W is a serious flood so it should be fun I think

Order off ebay or through a distributor because ZL themselves can be pretty poor with their customer service.

I bought Panasonic 3400's off Amazon - they are fine except the positive end doesn't have a protruding button like you would expect. It flat just like teh negative end. The first time I put one in the HC50, nothing happened - no power -- wtf? :headscrat.....I took it out and examined it closely and realized the flat positive end would not connect to the pins inside the light since it has some funky contacts which make using CR123's or 18650's possible. I pried under the edge a few spots around the tip of the battery with a small pick and now it connects just fine.

I am also really liking going to all 18650s for all of my lights

I like the panasonics, the ZLs are picky on length. They have a spring for the positive end so the flat tops work. When i got the Nitecore P12 I put one in and nothing happened then realized they don't use a spring.

I like 18650s the best as well.

Pics to follow, but got a set of facom pro twists and facom grips, and a 8mm ratchet spanner.

Does anyone know where i can get a 7mm ratchet wrench?

Your gonna love it.
I posted mine a week or so back when I got it. I realized today that I have been using it more than any other headlight I have ever owned. Not just in the darkest spots, but also lighting up my work area in spots that it just made things better where I would not have bothered to waste battery life on in the past. I run it usually on the 3rd setting, as that is at least as bright as the next best light I ever had previously, but sometimes on the highest setting for super fine detail work.
I also found that I am getting 3 days working around the shop like that out of a single charge on 3400 mAh batteries - probably 6 hrs run time total.

How much and where ?

New to the forum. All my previous tools were harbor freight and the occasional craftsman. Found out about gearwrench in the hotdeals section and made a few purchases. I'm just an enthusiast, and by no means will I be using the tools everyday, maybe not even once a week. But atleast my toolbox is off to a good start now!

If you're in the USA there are a few on ebay.com, Gearwrench for about $13

Facom do make them, I have the 15* offset reversable ones from 6mm to 24mm
and the straight flip to reverse type from 6mm to 19mm, both include the 7mm.
IMHO, the Facoms are much better quality than Gearwrench, but a bit pricey.

Contact Steve at Ultimate Garage, he is a Facom dealer in the USA
(New Jersey, if I'm not mistaken), maybe he can supply you one... He is also a member
here so might do you a bit of a deal. Just Google Ultimate Garage, his is the first site that
pops up.

i fell in love with snap on cushion ratchets, but since im just a weekend wrencher i don't want to spend 100 dollars on a ratchet, so i bought the 3 piece gear wrench set, personally i like them more, and the price is so much better.:3gears:

Finally ordered some SAE balldrivers. I got the 13-pc Bondhus set because I wanted the larger sizes, but comes with some tiny ones I'm unlikely to need.

Here are my arrives for this week.

Northern Tool = Everything you see in the picture was only $10 total! :) That is solid brass punches! Can't wait to try the stamp set. The lock in funnel is Made in USA! Didn't expect that.

Sears.com = More Craftsman Industrials cheap to fill some gaps.

Sears = The pencils, chuck and winter gloves were free. Love tool of the month club. It was under $10 for all so got it for free!

Sears = Gearwrench set for $35 after coupons after sale price! Regular price is $99! I love the look and feel of them. Found two that have a slight binding defect in the ratchet mechanism but other then that they are great so far.

Oh one last thing. Does a laptop count as a tool if I use it for reading PDF service manuals and connect it to a Bluetooth OBDII reader? This laptop was only $99 after 5% Red Card discount at Target clearance! Go to Target and pull some teeth and you can get the display model. Expect a fight and don't back down. Extreme YMMV! Might not even be in the system anymore to ring up.

He just posted a picture from visiting Epstein's B&M store. I'm guessing from Epstein's store.
