Bought my two and a half year old daughter her first screw driver. I've been putting way to much time into my basement, and she has been a trooper trying to help me out... So on top of the free popcorn at Rona that she tags along for, I got her a little something extra today.

Works great, by the way! Only disappointing thing is that there will always be a bit in the end, as there is no blank space to store it in. But that's ok... She loves it!

Your forum name (Roze) means pink (color) in Dutch, so you bought the perfect screwdriver for your daughter lol :D

Picked up a vintage Craftsman 1/4" drive ratchet...:)

Made in USA

Although previously used, it is in nearly new condition: "new old stock".

Although it looks like it, the toothed wheel is not a thumbwheel. The toothed wheel is actually the directional selector. The button in the middle of the toothed wheel is a the socket quick-release.

I'm not so sure that professional users would appreciate the tooth-wheel as the directional selector.

I have the same ratchet, plus the 3/8" and 1/2" drive versions; got them new when they first came out. I use them all the time. It's also easy to disassemble, just push down on the quick release button down past the normal stop, and the whole ratcheting assembly pops out.

I picked up a new welder last week. But today my wife beat up the salesman at Lowes. My pressure washer died and we went to look for a new one I see this Vox 4000psi unit and before I say anything the sales man says its the last one they have and he wants it off the floor. I see its about $1200 He says he will discount it to $900 My wife jumps in and say if you want it gone what's you best price the sales guy pulls out his calculator and makes like a rocket scientist and says $800 again my wife says you can do better, he says $750 my wife says we will take it now for $650 and he says ok. I use my Lowes card and got another 5% off. By the way this is a brand new still in the box unit not a floor model.

It's a combination of my first and last name, the t_roze. And I am Dutch, so it works out well!

Woon je ook in Nederland of woon je ergens anders? Eindelijk weer iemand naar wie ik Nederlands kan schrijven, zijn er niet veel op dit forum...

Thats awesome. I love Daddy daughter stuff. I am sure your babygirl loves it.

When my daughter was into arts and crafts, I got her a set of Snap-On diagonal cutters so she could cut wire and stuff. ( after we found several pairs of scissors fairly chewed up )
She doesnt take care of a lot of stuff but she takes care of the pliers.

For most of the vehicles and equipment I have I use dinosaur oil still or a synthetic blend oil. Has worked good for me so far. All preference.

32 oz craftsman hammer
12 oz craftsman hammer
2$ oil filter wrench from lowes
3 pk of microfiber cloths ( been doing a lot of aluminum polishing on the dirt bikes[emoji39])
Microfiber drying towel. (Figured is try one. Regular towels get heavy half way through a car.)
And some boot laces

This arrived about two weeks ago and just slapped together a cart for it. The machine is badass. Cuts anything I have thrown at it without skipping a beat. It'll get a coat of paint when I finish sanding all of it down.

I generally HATE buying tools online - unless I've already seen or held the tool in my hands, and so I took a risk buying this light online, but now that I've had a chance to use it, I'm happy with the purchase. the light output is bright, even, and adjusts into enough positions to work well in most any situation.

Ah. Those are darn pretty in green! Sadly the grey one that I have closes with the handles somewhat misaligned. Meh. I really don't like it -_-

Only a couple of bucks with free shipping, so I Picked up a couple of tiny Craftsman stainless steel turnscrews. :)

Phillips - model 41535 N = Pratt Read, ca. 2007 - 2009

Slotted - model 41534 Q = Pratt Read, ca. 2002 - 2006

Pratt-Read, based in Shelton, Connecticut, a subsidiary of Ideal Industries, produces screwdrivers. It is one of the oldest companies in the United States, having been founded in 1798.

Got some large metric combination wrenches from Cripe. 21, 22,23,24,25,26,27,30,32mm. Assorted brands of Armstrong, Kobalt, Allen and KD. All USA made. Not bad, 9 wrenches for $62.50 + 13 shipping. Combining shipping was big in this case.

Nice buy!
I've been keeping an eye on all the big metric sizes at Cripe to go with my SAE wrenches. Haven't pulled the trigger on them since I'm hopefully going into the standby generator side of industry instead of trucks or equipment.
