Pretty cool but looks spendy. Did you compare it to other options out there, what did you like about this one? I still have the manual resistor type battery tester, I hardly ever (need to) use it.

To be honest, I don't even know how to use it yet!!

A buddy is having voltage problems on his car, and I want to see if we can figure it out...

I am mostly gathering tools while I am working, they will be for retirement projects!!

I did get a sweet deal on it!!

Got a 1 inch breaker bar and 3/4 adapter from this fellow :

hand tools for less

Someone here steered me to him. Old stock NAPA, USA made. Very happy, did a good job shipping

And some bearing race punches, also due to learning about them here.

My FZ2 (pkg of 2 FZ1s) came in today. They're surprisingly heavy for their size. Super nice chrome and tight fit.

Let us know what you use them for. I showed them to my snap on driver 2 years ago and he said he never sold a single one

I have an application in mind for them. But it will be a while before I get the project to the point where I can use them.

Been there for 30 plus years, all out door. If you're in burr ridge your 10-15 mins away. 55 to Joliet rd, before 53 you wont miss it, on your right hand side. Saturday and sunday. Sundays are a mad house. I haven't been out there for a few years. Always so busy in the summer. I need to make that trip though. Gonna be 95 Saturday. I like it hot, so I think I will go there this weekend

It's worth checking out once. My wife buys plants there sometimes because they are better than HD, etc. No tool stands that I remember, mostly junky stands with kids toys, etc. Fresh fruit stands are pretty good. I think it's $3 to get in per carload or something like that.

New Starrett 1/4"-1/2" tap wrench, pn 50429. I usually prefer the straight bar type starrett handles with the knurled adjuster, but they can be a little cumbersome in tight spots and this was only $30 from MSC. feels good, a lot more solid than any of the T handle tap wrenches I can remember using

Used to be loaded with tools. Like I said have not been there for a few years. The vegetable stands were good. And the fact you can grab a beer and walk around with it. I don't like Alsip indoors. Used to get some good deals at the Ashland one. That areas not worth going into anymore.

I have that same one, mine is probably 30 years old from my father. Used it the other night. Much nicer than any other one I've used.

Thank you.

Toptul & Force my favorites. Tools from the USA we have, but very expensive

Everything is like new and works great , just needs a new blade and required about 5 hour drive , which here in so cal is less than 100 miles total

Kowa T-Handle 7-Piece Set

These are prized by most motorcycle folks, I purchased mine direct from Japan and received them in 5 days. They are available from Pro Circuit here in the US but cost $25 more then I paid.

Link if anyone else is interested http://japan.webike.net/products/1347662.html

Best set of T-handles I have used. But I have placed 2 orders with webike recently and both took about a month to get.

Finally able to order some 3/8" and 1/2" impact sockets, hopefully I'll be able to afford everything for classes this fall. UPS tells me I have a 68.40 lbs box on the way, my back was like "And how the **** are we going to carry those into class?"

I can't wait to when I have a job and can have a tool box doing all the weight holding, because it's going to be a chore schlepping things back and forth to classes.
