That's the first one I have seen with no logo. There must be a factory somewhere in China turning these out by the millions. They all seem to be identical, including the min/max seat height. My Sunex branded one is at least 10 years old, and I just got a Wen branded one. The newer ones appear to have improved wheels.
I just picked up the same one with a red seat from HF for $25 yesterday.

I was taking apart Honda Accord interior panels and could have used angled pliers to make thing easier (realized I didn’t have one in the process.) So I got not one but three new pliers so I won’t struggle next time.

Left to right:
25 21 160 Radio Plier
38 35 200 Mechanics Plier
26 22 200 Stork Beak Plier

There are actually two other bent style Knipex pliers if you want to complete the line up ;)

38 81 200 A , and 38 81 200 B.

Both are very handy.

Leads for my Fluke DMM that plug directly into 4mm banana jacks:

Wish I would have had these when I started cutting the foam for my “commonly used measurement tool” drawer. This is the best I could come up with for the room I have left:

I’ll give it a few days before I cut the foam to see if I can figure out a layout I like better.

I bought from eBay a NOS Scotch Bright Radial Bristle Brush wheel. This works nice! I had a thick, course wire wheel that was aggressive, but also rubbed the housing a lot. No rub on this one and it spins a nice long time after power off now.

Incoming tomorrow is a pair of diamond grinding wheel dressing tools. I know. Super exciting!

Plier purchases are never ending….they are actually in my Amazon cart and plan to purchase once price gets bit more attractive.

Thanks for the heads up.

I've got the simple bent-nose needle noses on the right, 26 22 200, love 'em, use them plenty. I haven't been tempted by the double-bend type in the middle.

Is the one on the left the kind with the 70 degree bend, 38 71 200? Got a pair of those, haven't found much use for them so far. Also, they didn't fit in my pliers drawer so maybe I didn't think of them as often as I should have. I can definitely seem them having a purpose in some tight spots.

I'm not sure the different numbers he listed weren't just the non-comfort grip versions of what you bought in comfort grip!

(It is my opinion that for me and my hands, Knipex comfort grip is awesome. Not available in 70 degree bend pliers, though.)

Added part numbers to the original post. Agreed that some of these are not frequently used pliers but I know I would be happy on those special occasions (like my Accord project).

They are different. Those listed are double bend pliers in different angle then the 38 35 200 which I didn’t purchase this time.

They are different ........... I have all three of the odd bent ones. I have not seen the two I listed in comfort grip versions. Don't think they made them that way (too bad).

I done took advantage of the Ryobi Days Deals 😁

first, I ordered my free tool as 2 batteries. then my 2nd order I got the 1/2"x18" belt sander
sooo, 4 4aH batteries for $100
and then 2 4aH batteries and the belt sander for $100

6 batteries, 2 chargers and belt sander for $200+tax....not a bad deal if I say so myself. plenty of runtime now!

Yeah there pretty nice. Especially after buying a metric set of 3/4" drive deep impact sockets from chynah for $46 delivered. I knew what I was getting into but jeez they skipped every quality control measure I know of and plenty more. The Kokens are truly as perfect as can be, no evidence of any machining, no burrs perfectly centred etc. But a set of 3/4 Kokens would be like a house down payment. I've got the Koken sliding T wheel spinner too, thats a ripper of a tool. Hows the burrs on the inner drive end hex end of the Chynezium sockets, I had to spend a few minutes in each with a file. 😃 Super soft too, after a single tow ball nut they drive end is already wollowing out 🥺 The detent ball hole isnt in the right position, they ****. But they were cheeeep!IMG_20230524_200840_9.jpg
Is there a brand?

I bought a set of Vevor SAE 3/4 sockets (with ratshit and extensions) and am having the same issue, there's a burr at the leading edge of the hex broached hole (not sure if they're actually braoched, but you know what I mean).

No reply about warranty or correcting the issue, not that I expected any.

Got a small 3/4 Tekton Braker bar🤣 Got it to remove this guy.
I’m glad to see you are finally getting around to those valve cover gaskets 😂👍

I know I wouldn’t be pleased if I bought tools and found rodent ***** matter in them. Hopefully they will return the items 😳👍😆?

Wanted a damn good battery impact, don’t have Milwaukee at the shop so picked up a CT9050 kit. This thing is awesome from my first impressions.

It better be with a price of around $1,000 if I remember correctly.

I had a few Snap On 14.4v tools, but ended up selling them awhile back. It was just too expensive to keep buying more tools and batteries.

Compared to Snap On prices, Milwaukee becomes a bargain.

Yup sticker is right around a grand. I paid slightly less. I have all snap on 14.4 at work and this one, it is expensive but I like my warranty coming to me.

Milwaukee is what I keep for home use.

See above, I F'ed my 3/8" gun, 100% my fault and shortly out of warranty.
My dealer put it as a warranty and has got other things through, I have never asked for him to do this but I'm a good customer.

I know I'm not known on this forum like so many other regulars are. But I enjoy being part of a community like this. On a truck forum I've been a member of for 15 years I am more known and am always offering help, knowledge as well as receiving it.

So for a member here to reach out and bless me with the following out of pure generosity, just blows me away. I love Koken and other well made Japanese tools. If I could I would have bought all Koken instead of Tekton (which is more my budget and needs). But I only treated myself to a few pieces here and there.

I'm still speechless which is uncommon for me. I truly do not have the words to express my gratitude and humility.

Koken 3/8s metric standard and deep 12pt, 8-19mm
Koken 3/8 metric standard 6pt, 8-19mm
Koken 1/2 metric 10-32mm
Koken 1/4 metric standard and deep 6pt 4-14mm
Full set of 1/4 extensions
Full set of 3/8 extensions
Full set of 1/2 extensions
and the two Westling trays (because they saw I wanted them but was questioning a few things about them)

I'm so blown away.

I'm also motivated to go through all the vintage pieces I've collected over the years just sitting in a box. Posting up images and model numbers and paying it forward to anyone who wants or needs pieces to complete sets, etc.

Thank you, GJ for being such an awesome community.

Bought some of the new Gearwrench long (6") metric hex bits. Nothing special, but should be OK.

Capture333.JPG

Also got a new 4.5 backing pad and a 25 sleeve of 3M 982 CX Pro grinding discs with the TN quick change. These things are freaking amazing. Best Ive ever used bar none. Even over other name brands like Walter. They cut super fast. Note they come in a ziploc bag to try and prevent potato-chipping kinda interesting. We'll see how it works, that is always the downside of discs over stones.
