I was thinking about that one. But I like that Astro is a forum sponsor and their light isn’t much more than the hf one! My Carlyle version is doing well for now but I will get the Astro version when the time comes

The Braun lights are $25-30 without a coupon or sale and the Astros are twice as much. I have both, and I'm not saying that $25-30 is a huge dollar amount, but in this case it's twice as much $.

Is Inbus comparable to Park Tools in Europe? I always remember them as being related to bicycle repair.

Inbus is the original European version of what Americans call the Allen key. These keys are commonly called Inbus or Imbus (for easier pronunciation in some countries) across Europe. In Germany INBUS was an acronym for Innensechskantschraube Bauer und Schaurte (literally: Internal hex screw Bauer and Schaurte).

I just looked it up and the Inbus keys are actually also manufactured by HaFu. They don't even have a separate factory, which means Inbus is indeed not the OEM for Hazet. Everything is made by HaFu.

As for Inbus, or rather HaFu... I have no personal experience with them. I was never impressed with L-keys until I came across the Wera hex profile that doesn't round nearly as much as most of the others. My father has some chrome plated keys. All they say is "Roto" and the size. I never found out who makes them but I was impressed by how flexible they are (as opposed to easily snapping). I once tried to take off the brake discs from my scooter. The screws had threadlockers on them and the key bent ~70 degrees. I was so afraid of the keys snapping but they didn't. I gave up, but the screw didn't get rounded off. The key reverted to its original shape, the screws needed a nut and welding to finally come off. I imagine the PB Swiss are made of similar stuff.

On the list of ‘tools GJ made me buy’, 6.5” channellocks. They were on offer for $7, so I couldn’t say no.

And a set of mostly green instinct handles for $50 off marketplace. One needs a warranty and they all need a clean, but not bad condition really.

Sure, but knowing is 90% of the battle when I get myself in a mechanical pickle, sometimes. I could probably afford the Tekton version if and when needed. Love learning tool stuff here.

I have a generic version of those sockets that I bought a few years ago. No idea on brand, but I'm sure I saw them here first. I only use the 19mm occasionally, and I don't truly need to use it, but it makes the job easier. My set is something like 10, 12, 14, 17, 19. I have no idea where I bought them, but unless someone here chimes in, maybe start a new thread asking about them. I know they weren't expensive, or I wouldn't have bought them, since I didn't really need them.

It’s summer time here in the U.K. of G.B. - which means I’m trying to get someones bike back on the road, and ordering parts to do it from Japan. It would be a waste not to fill up the package with something…!

I love these KTC trim clip tools - the tips are ground much finer than many. All their trim tools have pink handles.

The new KTC roto head ratchet’s are superb. Everybody comments on how compact the heads are (which they are) but to me, the stand out feature is the quality. Made to a very high standard and beautifully finished.

If you put the extra stuff in duty free bags, it can confuse flight personnel as to how much you’re bringing on.

I work at a Dodge dealer, so the dye is branded. I think it maybe made by Tracerline? As for your leak I would suspect the condenser. Seen a lot of them. There was a TSB for the descendant plug leaking on the Rams, and possibly the Durango/Grand Cherokees. It's located on the drivers side lower corner of the condenser. If you find a leak there they do sell just the descendant with a new plug with o-ring.

Nice... with a small mattress on the platform... I can think of a dozen reasons to have that. Specially if you are into "the big ladies"... Just saying... not for me obviously...
