haha....barb fittings, clamps y'know, bits? :D I threw in that drawer some sharpies and soapstone holder and refills too.
And here I thought there was some new kind of drill bit I never heard of. I just learned last week that there are drill bits with threaded shafts on here last week, so I figgured ... 🤷‍♂️

I took the Amazon Prime free trial and grabbed this for under $30. I needed one and I like their hammers a lot. Thanks @Crabman!!
ESTWING Dead Blow Hammer - 45 oz Mallet with No-Mar Polyurethane & Cushion Grip Handle - CCD45

Those Estwing dead blows were a decent deal. But for anybody missing out take a look at trusty cook blemish deals, even better price & made in USA.

Yes, a good deal, I have a smaller one of theirs. I only ordered the one dead blow hammer from Amazon, and got free shipping with Prime. The shipping for the Trusty Cook is free for orders of $150 or more.

Arrived yesterday - Emax 350 - 5hp/80 gallon. Way bigger than I expected. Its replacing an 80 gallon horizontal unit. Waiting on a whip to connect to electric and have a little sweating to do to connect the air to existing piping. Looking forward to firing it up. Got a great deal on Amazon and the shipping company was excellent. They contacted me 2 days before delivery and a few times the day of to let me know where it was. The guys from the shipping company were excellent also. All in all a great experience. As you can see, didn't fit in the garage in it's packaging and was a close fit once out. Getting it off the tall pallet was interesting.

A package that does not fit in the garage! Reminds me of the mailorder kit my father ordered in the 1970's, for a 21 foot sailboat. Imagine a very large wooden crate on a flatbed semi backing into the driveway. Oh, and the garage was down the hill and around the back.*

Later in that project, the lead keel was delivered by a different trucker. I think my dad used his 5 foot crowbar to just flip it over and over again down the the stone driveway and then the hill part of the driveway, etc etc. I was very small then and did not have manpower to contribute to such things.

______

* In case you were thinking, yes, he built a 21 foot sailboat inside the garage and then had to figure out how to get it on a trailer (stern first?!) and then how to get that trailer out of the garage, around the bend, up the hill with the large trees and rock wall...

I see an advertising opportunity for Estwing and they're fools if they haven't thought of it already!

Been saving a bunch of new arrivals for when the hutch comes in and I can have a clean backdrop, but Matco dangled these in front of me when he stopped by. He'll be getting many more of my doneros, especially if they come out with a purple air hammer >.>

That would be awesome! But you'd have to promise me you'll sing like Hendrix when you use it.

Purple buzz
All around
Don't know
If it's going up or down!
Am I happy or in misery?
What ever it is, that rivet's
gonna split on me

Todays McMaster order completed my set of aircraft length drill bits (6”).

I was roaming around Harbor Freight looking for something for my 25% off coupon and ended up with this new arrival.

I haven’t filled it yet, but it looks identical to my SureShot sprayers.

Who do y’all like for coolant system pressure test adaptors? I have a Matco kit but I need one for a specific job that I don’t have. Astro Pneumatic is cheap and I like their stuff, but first inclination is to go with snap on or Matco.

I've had an astro pressure/refill for 8ish years. You'll need to buy the extra 3 caps to fill up the kit. They also make a regulated attachment to use air pressure to find leaks.

Matco doesn't make anything. They rebrand products. If I was leaning toward the Matco product. I would see if it was a better deal from the company that makes it.

Matco's made-in-USA ratchets are rebrands of what other company's?

They're not. Matco makes them, via a contract to a tool maker.

People believe matco makes nothing. IDK where you can buy their infinium line of electric tools, or the ratchets, or the non slip impact sockets.. .

The USAG combo wrench set (same as Mac RBRT) finally arrived after... 2 months or so. Shipping date was supposed to be 7-10 work days. Every time I order from Italy I imagine something like this:

Shop: Hey, we got an order, we need to contact the factory and tell them to send us some of their stuff. Meanwhile at the factory: Hey, that shop ordered some stuff, we need to start producing, we need to contact the metal works. The metal works: We got an order, let's call the African kids and tell them to start mining. When it's finally done and they are about to ship it: Hey, we finally got it, let's throw it into a plastic bag and ask that hobo over there to deliver it on foot. The hobo of course walks all the way through Mordor and when it finally arrives it looks like this:

No COO anywhere. Now I have to look for some storage. Most textile pouches are out of the question.
Those are beautiful. I need more wrenches like I need a hole in the head, but might you have a USAG part number handy?
