Got this in the other day. It's an oxycilic acid vaporizer for treating my honey bee hives for mites when they are at minimum population and eggs before spring and winter. Runs off my dewalt batteries. I treated my 6 hives in the time it took me to do 2 hives with my old 12v wand lugging a 12v car battery around. Much more back friendly.

Sooooo you’ve got your bees tripping on acid??

Dude you know how to 🎉 🎉🎉

Seriously though. I had no idea such a thing was so mainstream that a company like dewalt would make it. Is it strictly for that chemical or for any type of vaporizing?

Looks like an aftermarket thing that uses dewalt batteries. This is happening more and more, lots of aftermarket lamps on Amazon for the various battery platforms, I even saw a battery shot blaster that took Milwaukee batteries the other day.

Let us know how that heater works out for you. I thought about buying one for working in the shed (12x24, uninsulated).

Mike
WIll do! I had it going for about 20 minutes in mid-30s weather. The temp raised (gradually) about three degrees in my 12x14 insulated shed. Being anywhere within 3-5 feet of it was easily felt. I'm really glad I got it and look forward to burning through a propane can on a cold day!

Yes, they be trippin...

Dewalt doesn't make it. They are made in Hungary and imported to the US.

Certainly not new but new to me! Picked up a pretty awesome 18" bandsaw for $50 (yes, $50!) and a spot welder for $100. The bandswaw has a pneumatic feed and the blade speed adjusts from 20-5000. Even came with a few rolls of blade!

here's a video of them demoing the vaporizer on hives using Makita batteries:

I've got a Lidl just down the road from me.

On topic: Finally received the last of my impulse buys.

Nice. If you don't already have it, you should get the Wiha #2 Xeno driver for home electrical work- it'll probably be your most used. It's perfect for those annoying slotted/phillips combo screws used on outlets and switches - although a square bit also works on them. I also have a power bit in that style for a cordless screwdriver.

Not new, but last week's estate sale bargains. The Knipex and other misc were $2 each, the Snap on wrenched had been $10 each but they dropped them to $5 each. The "Mazda" engraved letter opener was $0.75.

SAR58.45 is equal to $15.59.

It's now running much more than that locally...

Not sure how the pricing discrepancy happened, but I'll take it.
I have one of those... never used it... it's got to be 30yrs old. I have been successful using a machete and toilet plunger.

My toilet has NOT clogged since my niece stopped visiting.
