This one I’m pissed about. Bought on 2-3yrs ago for a major coring project. This past December one of my guys left me and mine must have left with him. And next week we start making Swiss cheese out of a tilt up

Thanks. I'm trying to find a cheap-ish set of those in SAE, not having any luck.

Mike

This set plus an extension is close.

Just got that same thread checked set. I’ve wanted one for years…hope I never have to struggle to guess SAE vs Metric or thread pitch ever again.

OMT Fluid Extractor, also includes a few different size tubes not in the picture. I plan to use it tomorrow to change out the gearbox oil in the Ariens snowblower (no drain plug), and will probably come in handy for push mower oil changes as well.

Finally got me load tester/battery discharger. I was too cheap to buy one on Amazon. Got it from Aliexpress for more than half the price & with extra accessories.

Picked up a couple of USB-C meters also for cheap (the USB-A on top I've had & is pretty old).

More pliers for work. I really like the form factor of these. Too bad their quality control is the worst I have ever experienced. Found an old thread here on GJ talking about the poorly made & inconsistent jaws. So I ordered the EZ-REDs & the ones from ARES. The ARES I received were really bad. Then a few AWDs became available for the EZ-REDs & I ordered them (I didn't want to order new unopened ones to cherry pick because of the way they are packaged). Finally got me a set that I was ok with.
BTW, why are they called Kiwi Pliers? Are these copies, or in other words are there quality ones available in this exact form factor?

Again more pliers for work. The ones on bottom are the ones I've had at home. I always wondered why this size was the only ones that said Cobra on the dipped handles & not Knipex like all my others. The new pair on top are marked just like all my others so I was gonna keep the new ones at home until I realized they're now made with a lighter coating on the steel. All my others are dark. Yeah I know I got issues. :lol_hitti

Nice wrench collection. What brand are the 4-way angle wrenches?
I'm not crazy about the logo on those new 100 tooth ratchets.

10-19mm is snap on with the flank drive plus open ends. The 8,21,22,24,27 are tekton, as is my SAE set stored elsewhere.

I agree about the logo, not my favorite. Seems like forced nostalgia, for a logo Im too young to have nostalgia for. I bought it to replace a Tekton flex head, it's just a bit longer than that. It's nice and thin, roughly the size I want, I figured I'd give it a try.

What brand are the double flex box ends?

Cornwell. IIRC matco also sells them.

They have a toothed open end, and a brass plug in the side so I assume they're Kabo. You can do some pretty tricky stuff with those.
Thanks
I bought a 17 19 Snap-on one.
I needed that little extension that sticks out.
Pricey it is.

New 100 tooth

My tekton organizers came in, now all the metric crowfeetand adapters fit in my main wrench drawer. I am better organized, and have more space. Used them in my cart to save space AND and another set of wrenches in.

Are those Tekton wrench organizers in a 2" Snap On drawer in that pic? Been debating getting some for my cart, jsut not sure how tight of a fit they are in a 2" SO drawer....

Nuts, I think that is why I balked in the first place, not sure they would be good in my 2" cart drawer.

The tekton website says they're like 1.6 inches tall. If you have sets, the flat organizers with no retaining fingers can keep the wrenches at a pretty steep angle. Less modular, but probably as low profile as one can get without just laying wrenches flat in a drawer.

I don't like 2" drawers. I can't find things that fit in them elegantly. I have drawers full of drivers, pry tools, hammers, etc but if one tool is sitting just the tiniest bit proud it will whack the drawer above it.
