Now you've done it! How the heck are we supposed to read that? You're measuring an imperial/SAE/standard/whatever people want to call it wrench with a metric dial caliper! That's just wrong! And the calipers don't even have very clear markings either. :D

J/K of course (looks like it spread to 6.73mm?)
Failed first time you used it.
7 at root, 7.3 at jaw end. Don't have inch calliper, that one is Swiss made and came from a wire rope manufacturers.

Yes it failed straight away. Steelworks didn't have visiting Tool vans, I would sometimes see Snap on parked up and get any tools needed ( if I could afford them ). Am sure I got that from a town outside of this city, that's why I didn't exchange then.

Why haven't I known about this thread earlier :)

Found this old Mac tool box for $20 on marketplace, seller was a sweet old lady said the drawers were stuck. She didn't realize it was the mechanism for the top that releases the drawers but still wouldn't take any more $$$$. She was excited to have the 3' of counter space available haha.

Also found these guys a neighbor was giving away. One is broken but the other works great. These things bring back memories of working on the Big Dig doing the architectural concrete walls. So nice.
Your box find is cooler than mine, I picked up a old Blue 3 drawer craftsman in nice shape on the marketplace for $30

I just got back from a Grand Opening sale at our new Runnings store. They carry some TEKTON tools in store. Was able to use a $10 coupon to scoop this up. Not the newer set with the 15mm sockets, but for the price I’m not complaining, and I don’t use 1/4 much above 10mm anyways.

That's where I saw that handle! I was in the market for a spinner handle either last year or the one before. I remembered that I'd saw one on the Tekton site that had the driver end. I never could find where they sold it separately from this set. Ended getting a Williams one off of Amazon.

It is pretty neat. I honestly didn't even realize it had it until I opened it up

I had this box in the Harley Davidson Edition, my son got it for me. Never had a need for it but it was cool, I decided after all those years of it taking up space my smaller 20" gray no drawer tool box that I'd had since 1976 with lots of patina was more practical to keep.
That HD chest was brand new and never used, I think I finally got $20 4 years ago for it after trying to sell it for $40 for months.. :(
I regret parting with it now that I've downsized tremendously as I've aged...live and learn I guess...

Been watching this cart for a while. Pulled the trigger on a discounted floor model and used a 10% offer using the store card.
How much? I got the 52" rolling chest for $528 it was marked down from $898 in perfect condition in store only. I tried chasing this cart down thru the 3 local stores hoping to get the same kind of deal on the cart. I like it but it ain't worth its current $503 price at least to me..

I almost went to Homeys today maybe I should have, but Blowes had what I needed and it was closer. I hate that ACE here is closed on Sunday.

Is Blackhawk still in production? I found a catalog from 2018, but no website. I guess you used to be able to search part numbers on Proto's website, but that doesn't seem to work anymore.
It all seems to be new old stock. I updated nearly all my chrome sockets and combo wrenches with miUSA Blackhawk stuff shortly after they were discontinued. Everything was super cheap but still seemed to be available from a few retailers. MSC, Circle C Supply, and I think Zorro seemed to carry most things. Now it's all ebay sellers or random little mom n pops that have new blackhawk stuff in stock.

The Expert line is the new slightly cheaper line world wide. Good stuff. Blackhawk and brittool are no longer as far as I can tell.

0451F6C7-DF26-4459-9C89-D1F7F3DB64C3.pngMountain double flex ratcheting wrenches. Planned on getting the Icon set as recommended on another forum however @The Critic texted me and said he had an extra set for sale so I told him to send them my way. Thanks Michael. Really excited to try these out this week. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to use them on a brake job or something.

Finally got me some 88T rebuild kits for my beloved Matco Danaher/Armstrong ratchets which were originally 60T. I did put GW 84T internals in the 3/8 a while back but always felt guilty of that. The 3/8 rebuild kits have shown OOS/discontinued on Matco's website for quite some time. Sent an email stating I've been trying to buy them, a few questions from them later, they sent me 4 kits for free.

Of all the ratchets that I own these have always been my favorites & by far even more now.

I normally use panel popper pry tools but wanted to try these for certain plastic push pins at work. I hope they work out.

New diag cutters for work...... only because they were $5 w/ coupon. Buyer beware though on these, I don't recommend them unless you want/need a cheap pair like I did. The first one I got had a bit of play in the pivot. Got them exchanged for a good one but there were more hanging on the shelf that had play in them. They do cut & feel better than the Pittsburgh ones though that my work supplied.

Haven't used a HSS parting tool in over 15 yrs, or any HSS turning tools for that matter. I needed to make 50 delrin spacers for work so I bought a couple of HSS-CO parting blades. Received them only to find out my dumb *** didn't remember that I had sold the parting blade holder cause I never used it! Had to buy another one of those too. Lol

I follow a fellow welder/fabricator on IG and he had posted about a sale at Acme Tools, 25% off these bad boys. Couldn't pass it up and wish I bought two now that I have it in hand.
What an amazing tool and it blows my mind none of the big vise companies didn't come up with this sooner.
I'll be getting the attachment sooner than later.
