I have that and have been very satisfied with it.Had to upgrade the impact…this is the biggest Ryobi makes and it was around 200 bucks out the door .
I've used one of those tables for 6 years in my knife shop, some of the best money I’ve spent!
I have a similar SWAG table and find it useful. But one problem with SWAG tables: this Swiss cheese area of mounting holes near the cutting area is ridiculous. They need to send template to drill a blank plate for various models or offer specific plates for standard models. Having that big cluster of mounting holes compromises the stability and strength of an area close to the cut. It also makes a lousy and messy surface to slide materials on. They really need to address this.

I thought this was the whole point of stating which bandsaw you are using when buying.I have a similar SWAG table and find it useful. They appear to try and have it fit many (too many) models by picking your mount holes. It is a lousy way to do it.I thought this was the whole point of stating which bandsaw you are using when buying.
Yea I see that, one plate to rule the all. It is wild they went that way when that mounting plate is removeable so it wouldn't be a large burden to have a couple different plates. They appear to try and have it fit many (too many) models by picking your mount holes. It is a lousy way to do it.
Nice, I've been thinking about getting one of those & now since it's on sale. Does it have memory (remembers the last mode it was on)?
A few years ago I built a wood-fired oven out by the pool. I love it. Apparently my wife loves it more.
We fire it up year-round, but a couple months ago I ran out of good firewood. I need shoulder surgery so I didn't make much progress swinging my 12lb maul on the oak rounds, most are in the 30"-34" diameter range. So the oven has remained cold.
Yesterday my wife was a bit coy. In the afternoon her phone rang, she told me to "fire up the tractor and let's go out to the street". Hmmm.
There's a freight truck a couple hundred feet down the street at my neighbor's house. Initially I thought I was doing a neighbor a favor but it turns out the driver was off by one driveway. Pallet was addressed to me.
Brought the pallet down to the house and deposited it on the back patio. It was a bit ominous looking in it's delivered state:
Unwrapped it and holy moly...unexpected...
Not too many parts to assemble. It's electric with a Baldor 220v 1-1/2hp farm motor. I do like Baldor farm motors. Well built.
Overall great first impression. Paint is delicate, but the paint is going to get destroyed in use so no big deal there. Components are heavy with good welds. Flywheel (it's a kinetic splitter with two 90lb flywheels) shroud is plastic. Weighs about 600lbs but it easy to roll around with the large tires. Fired it up, what a treat on the ears with no gas engine or hydraulic pump.
I do have a Honda gas engine down in the shop. Never been used. Backup for remote use maybe.
I see a few modifications on the way, but to say I'm happy to have this is an understatement! Pizza party, my place!

Wife of the year award!
yep, just tested that. Turned it onto high let it sit for about 30 seconds and turned it off. Came back on in high.Nice, I've been thinking about getting one of those & now since it's on sale. Does it have memory (remembers the last mode it was on)?
Awesome, I think I'm gonna go pick one up today, thanks!yep, just tested that. Turned it onto high let it sit for about 30 seconds and turned it off. Came back on in high.
I've had a few questions asked about it, maybe I'll start one?Do you have a build thread on that oven???
Eric, those spot weld cutter teeth are very brittle. I would suggest next time to buy a kit with replacement cutters. But since you got just two shots at this make certain you get a really good center punch to keep the bit from wandering on you, that’s what breaks the teeth off in short order.
You will like those. I wished they came with the same holder as their Z series sockets
Thanks Cam. This is for one project and not every sure if I will try to start back on it.Eric, those spot weld cutter teeth are very brittle.
