Ah. I have one like that, but no reservoir.

I use mine to blow cat litter dust off the mats we keep under the litter boxes every week or two. (Outside, in the driveway.) Neat stuff.

Tornador Z-014 Blow Out Tool - Clean and Air Dry Auto Surfaces with a Strong Gust of Air

Ordered a while ago, (waiting for Amazon to deliver it on Thursday). It will be a white brand from Amazon, the original is too expensive for me.

Cats:

A zillion of 'em. Found on streets.

Bought some pliers!

A little old lady friend in my neighborhood is having bad arthritis in at least one hand. I loaned her a teeny tiny Knipex Cobra that I hardly ever (never) use and she found it useful. But -- and this is a real reminder about what age and disability can do to change your world -- she has problems pressing the button in on the Cobra. Anyway, the idea of my gifting her a $30 pair of pliers freaks her out, so she asked if I could look for cheap off brand junk, so to speak. I'm a tool snob much of the time, but sometimes cheap junk is well within the needs of the user! She's doing things like opening soda bottles and small tubes of paint.

On the right, a sub-$4 pair of simple pliers from Wal-Mart. Made in China. Not bad, actually.

Then I stopped by HF to see what their $18 imitation of 8" Knipex Cobras were like. The phoneybaloney HF sub-brand is "Doyle." They seem pretty decent, actually. These are bigger than the tiny Cobras I've loaned her but I bet she finds them useful. (And I'll tell her they were $11.50)

Request for repair kit sent Wednesday, April 17.
Repair kit received @ no charge Monday, April 29.

I told them in the note that "I can't recall when I bought this - I think it might have been in the 1960's."
Sent a couple photos of the S-K Wayne ratchet along with it.
Can't ask for more. ;)

Ran into SnapOn truck getting my car inspected/registered earlier today.

Nice fellow, gave me a small price break on ballpeen hammer (32oz). Love the pliers, something I have been wanting to order for the past couple months.

I love my Knipex parallel-jaw pliers. I got some replaceable plastic jaw inserts for it, which are nice when you don't want to scratch the surface of certain fittings/fasteners.

I didn’t know these were available, thank you. This is exactly what I’m using them for, some fittings are anodized aluminum. I’ll have to search for the inserts. Thx

New tool arrived today. Most of you probably know this already, but it's a tubing/brake line straightener.
I'm planning to replace all of the brake lines on my 1954 Dodge M37, and that should be a good test for this tool.
I haven't had a chance to try this tool yet, but I'll post a few pics when I do.

Edit: One reason I bought this style of straightener (rather than the type where you have to feed the end of the tubing into the end of the straightener) is that I can straighten pieces of brake line that already have fittings on the ends.

I'm not sure if they make the plastic jaw protectors for all sizes of the Knipex pliers. My Knipex pliers is the 10" size.

If you're dealing with tubing fittings and don't want to distort them, you'll probably want to get a couple of flare nut wrenches sized for the fittings you're working with. Flare nut wrenches distribute the torsion/tightening forces more evenly around the fitting.

Oh, I do have a flare nut socket set. I wanted these for quick adjustments, probably should bite the bullet and get a wrench set.

I was being good, stopped at HF for some extensions and semi deeps, but met a SO truck for an FXWFL3. An amazing 3” locking wobble I wanted. New set of pliers and a 3/8 mini later, I’m on my way home. At least I got a free pocket screwdriver 😂.

I’d love to have a conversation with the guy who engineered this tool. Incredible.

It happens, nice haul. Curious, what do you work on with so many Torx?

European stuff mainly. The mini Torx set is destined for my office as higher end laptops use Torx, the big Torx set has been on my shopping list for years but never got around to pulling the trigger, when I mentioned needing the mini set, he offered a deal on the lot…great upsell :)

Universal joint socket set & T30 screwdriver on sale at my local NAPA. All made in Taiwan.

What's your initial thought on that metric set for a light user home gamer?

I had 2 sets of protos metric/sae when I was downsizing and should have kept the metric as I've had a couple of small situations were they would have been easier than a flex joint and a socket.

At $26 it should get me out of a pinch a few times a year. Taiwan made > China made

I picked up these Flankjaw pliers the other day on a whim. May be useful, may be useless…. Only time will tell, glad I didn’t pay full price 😎. They are next to my F80MP and it’s quite possibly my favorite ratchet I didn’t know I needed. It fits in well enough with the rest of them, and yes I know the wide array of different color handles is probably going to get to some of you guys with ocd but I find it handy when a buddy is helping me to be able to say hand me the grey handled ratchet….
