Went to my closest Lowe’s to pick up my order of the Kobalt 1/4” socket and tool kit that was on thier desk of the day sale for $10 each .

They had a rack of the Marshalltown tools by the contractors desk. Had someone check prices and they were all lower than the yellow signs showed.

Thanks oili. I looked at those and considered it. I guess it might be my only option.

Took me a bit to find the old pictures. I bought this from Bosch‘s consumables and accessories line-up back in the day. (Fun fact: Back then Bosch (Professional) had a set of 5 printed consumables and accessories catalogs, you were actually able to find ”gems” like this Wera made bit driver, and quite a bit more.)

The one issue I had with this driver was that it always felt like you were twisting both parts against each other depending on how difficult to remove/ stuck a fastener/screw/bolt was. I didn’t like that.

What I liked was the “pop-up” function & removable long Rapidaptor bit-holder.

I found this to replace it:

Snap-on listed Czech Republic as COO, that explains everything. ;)

Still available. https://shop.snapon.com/product/Pop...iamond-Bit-Set/Pop-Up-Shank-Screwdriver/SGDQ6

Back in the day I got the full kit: https://shop.snapon.com/product/Pop-Up-Screwdriver-and-Diamond-Bit-Set/Screwdriver-Kit/SGDQ16KT

Just for your information. :)

Kind regards,
Olli

Another new arrival to the shop:

I see folks here are pretty impressed with this stuff, so decided to give it a try. Hell, it's lanolin-based, so I can use it for hand cream, too!

I applied it to the brewery tools this morning. That'll be a good test of its rust-prevention ability as they're pretty much wet all the time.

I was pulling the straw out of the tape this morning and thinking: "Why don't they just put a clip or something to hold the damned straw that'll be lost in about ten minutes?" when I noticed the clip on the cap. Kudos!

Gentlemen or any body else ;). Both my Wera bit sets use thee same 816 handle which is just to damn small for my hands. I went to their site to see what options there might be but no luck determining what diameter other handles are.

Does anyone happen to know if they even make one with the bit latching feature?. I'm sure I can go with theirs or anyone else's magnetic universal handle but I'm annal about matching sets so....

Thanks
3 different size Wera handles I have.

Don’t lose that green card! 2/3rds of my shop are guys from Europe and one or two have lost their cards on accident and they had a hell of a time getting it all sorted out. Actually, now that I think about it, I might be one of two guys in the shop that is not a dual-national or foreign national. Man, I’m lame in comparison. 🤣

Still can't seem to post pictures.

Bought this to compare to the Capri Windstorm EX blow gun. It's half the cost and comes with the extra extensions and fittings. Appears to be the same manufacturer as Husky @ Home Depot and Hyper Tough @ Walmart but comes with all the extras for cheaper.

Finally came across a need for a SAE socket set so I ordered these and they came in today.

I took the day off today so I burned time walking around Home Depot and picked up both of these Milwaukee knives to use at work.

Now I get to spend the next hour or so transferring all the custom settings from the old camera to the new. Nikon allows one to customize the hell out of these semi-pro cameras, but getting them set entirely to my liking requires changing a lot of settings.

I got the M2A1 Water and Dust Proof Faraday Cage made up:

Some foam padding inside:

Now to make a nice tinfoil hat....
