^Something I appreciate about McM-C is that they don't automatically send me massive catalogs when I order online. Places like Mouser, Digkey and Uline drive me nuts with the five-pound catalog (Mouser is closer to ten pounds) every month or so. I order from those places because they have excellent online catalogs that work well.

Did some house and car work for my mom this weekend and as payment she gifted me a Home Depot gift card that someone had gifted her recently. It was good timing as Milwaukee has a buy more, save more deal going so I got 3 bare Milwaukee M12 tools for about $50 each shipped.

More Seedy socket rails
from?
you surely didn't pay shipping from Australia for those...

They look like a fairly decent set-up. All I see, however, is a 3-piece set.

Sedy / Sedy, 3/205 Abbotts Road, Dandenong South Victoria, Australia / https://sedyonline.com/ / est. 2009 / tool and equipment retailer - not a manufacturer /

I like the 3/8 and 1/2, but the 1/4 drive are kind of a waste of space.

Last months purchases.

Freshly "rebuilt" 14mm. Looks to be brand new. I guess they swapped it.

IMG_5456.jpg

And one of these expensive ratcheting wrenches 17mm/19mm
IMG_5458.jpg

And then some second hand new to me stuff:

Unused Snap-on small brass hammer
IMG_5461.jpg

32mm wrench to my collection of large metric Flank Drive wrenches
IMG_5459.jpg

14mm spark plug socket to my collection of spark plug sockets
IMG_5453.jpg

Used brushless 14.4V drill with 2Ah battery. works just fine.

A couple of things.
Handle that will accept recip, hacksaw, and saber saw blades. Came with blades and a rollup pouch.
Smooth parallel jaw SK pliers.

I like those Pliers... mine come on Saturday... how is the quality... were they worth the Coin? Reviews are mixed as to the longevity of them.

They seem OK. I didn't use any points, etc. so $27. Very little slop in the movement. Haven't used them yet - it may be quite a while. They're one of those "Oh, that'll come in handy down the road" kind of things. I just wanted the smooth & parallel jaws. Might be handier than a crescent wrench.

A few items came in from Tekton. I am in desperate need for a better socket storage solution in my work van. The problem is the U.S. General boxes aren't deep enough to fit most of the larger socket trays/organizers. The Tekton branded Ernst one I ordered looks pretty close to fitting. I'm hoping I will just have to trim off the lift points on the ends. I also needed 14mm hex sockets for removing/working on Cascade clamp attachments so I got the impact version in 1/2" and 3/8" drive.

Who else is a MaxiFlex fan? Recently found these guys and am pretty darn happy with them. Been using 874 for years but they burn up pretty quickly and literally haha. So far going on two weeks with my first set and they're still intact besides a little hole from hitting a grinder. The 874 typically last me a few days at best.
Gotta love some Knipex

Nice ratcheting T handle. The double ended bits are compatible with the Craftsman v-series ratcheting screwdrivers, which is one of the reasons I picked it up. Storage case is good, and compatible with Versastack. Takes up a lot of room though.

The veristack also clip into the Dewalt eqvilants too

The last copy of "WrenchWiki" (First Edition, 172 pages) was at the post office waiting for me. Signed by the author, of course.

If you never heard of WrenchWiki, now's your chance! Interesting website. Lots of great information on some obscure tool makers, as well as the better-known ones. Excellent resource.

Now you can fix whatever you break with the new hammer!
Not sure if you have heard/done this before.
Some of my old wooden handle hammers would get loose at the head.

I cleaned the surface and set it on the bench handle facing up - fed it steady diet of superglue.
Once it all dried off I flipped it on the handle and filled in the glue on the front face.

That was a few years ago, no issues since.

Got lucky and picked up this gently-used set I've been wanting for cheap off Facebook Marketplace. Only paid $3 more than the Icon set would've been, I'd call that a win!

Easily the lowest back-drag I've felt with any sort of ratchet, especially on the larger sizes. And with Flank Drive Plus on the open end. I'm in love!

They have been my go-to shop glove for years. I keep a “clean” pair for woodworking, and another pair for everything else. I‘ll pull on a pair of nitrile gloves over them for real messy stuff. Here in Phoenix, stuff left in the sun for even a few minutes is too hot to hold. These are thick enough to give me protection, but still have great tactile sensitivity.

Count me as another big time maxiflex fan. I used to have to order them online but my local Home Depot finally started stocking them in my size so I don't have to be so good about stocking extras.
