Next time reference:Broke this two or so weeks ago (first replacement shipped to an old address). The issue was using the security vs a solid one. Just too weak with the hollow center for an impact. That was my fault. We sure id add some anti seize, just glad nothing stripped.

I'm always amused when I see a pair of pliers that, like yours, clearly say, "DO NOT USE ON LIVE CIRCUIT" that have big holes blown in the cutters.Nothing big, but the tool helped do a rental property repair (replace a ceiling fan & light). Job finished today, & now I have a new wire cutter.

Have the very same pliers, bought them back when I did commercial maintenance. They have treated me well.Nothing big, but the tool helped do a rental property repair (replace a ceiling fan & light). Job finished today, & now I have a new wire cutter.

Quit looking in my toolbox.I'm always amused when I see a pair of pliers that, like yours, say, clearly, "DO NOT USE ON LIVE CIRCUIT" that have big holes blown in the cutters.
I had to do that on the Wife’s Honda before. Fun times!Next time reference:
Should the head strip out - just drill the head off, carefully of course.
Once the rotor comes off you can get what is left with no issue using pliers.
Oh, all I have to do is look in the shop electrical bag and see what my co-workers have done over the years.Quit looking in my toolbox.
Walmart has really been stepping up their tool game. They must have hired an actual tool person as their buyer for them.
Yeah I have heard that might be exciting, but of course have never experienced it firsthand....Oh, all I have to do is look in the shop electrical bag and see what my co-workers have done over the years.
Nothing to get your blood flowing like a big BANG and flash, then utter blindness as the breaker is blown--"Will I ever see again?"
Not that I've ever done anything like that![]()
Don't forget, the guy this happens to is standing on the top step of an eight-foot stepladder working overhead at the time!Yeah I have heard that might be exciting, but of course have never experienced it firsthand....![]()
Aluminum ladder. (or so I've heard.)Don't forget, they guy this happens to is standing on the top step of an eight-foot stepladder working overhead at the time!
Or so I've heard.
Did Blake change his user name orMy wife got me some cheap hose clamp pliers, because I said some bad words trying to remove a radiator hose with channel locks that kept slipping off.
Folks just back off and give me the stink eye when I do that--never buy me tools. My wife got me some cheap hose clamp pliers, because I said some bad words trying to remove a radiator hose with channel locks that kept slipping off.
The one that used to startle the hell out of me every time was working on an electrical circuit in the shop--locked-out, tagged and checked--when the old DeVilbiss 2-stage would kick in. That usually had me about four feet in the air with a heart rate of 300+, after smacking my head on whatever was above me when I went past.Yeah I have heard that might be exciting, but of course have never experienced it firsthand....![]()
I love my little slide hammer, doesn't get used a lot but it feels good when I do, lol.Last months purchases
Used SHLF80A to replace my old S831.
New XFRRM810 from my Snap-on dealer.
And used OEXM290B to add to my collection.
Mac tools bolt grip puller set. It might be missing one or two items.
Another one of these pliers holders from my snap-on dealer. I still need one or two more.
Used Snap-on compression tester kit. All hoses are in good condition so I grabbed it.
Incomplete set Snap-on slide hammer kit. Missing some legs. I bought it for the slide hammer itself.

Sorry we were setting outside when she grabbed the mail and I had old greasy jeans on. I was greasing the boat trailer wheel bearings.Did Blake change his user name or

I played with them and took a hose clamp off of a piece of hose that was getting pitched in the garbage and they seemed to work fine. No more than I work on hoses I don’t need SnapOn when a No Name set from Amazon will work.
Those actually work quite wellMy wife got me some cheap hose clamp pliers, because I said some bad words trying to remove a radiator hose with channel locks that kept slipping off.
I didn't even check that the instruction sheet was from another set. Haha.I love my little slide hammer, doesn't get used a lot but it feels good when I do, lol.
I have this set. https://shop.snapon.com/product/Light-Duty/Puller-Set-with-Small-Slide-Hammer/CJ93B
Which it looks like you have parts of and not the cj700 instruction sheet.
I like that 3 jaw setup, more research needed.
Not sure on part numbers, I bought use too, mine was used hard and some was beat up. Replaced under warranty lolI didn't even check that the instruction sheet was from another set. Haha.
Your's is the set I wanted, but this was for sale for 70 euros so I grabbed it. Slide hammer is CJ-125, other parts are CJ-93-something, two are CJ-93-xB and one part is CG240. I am missing most of the jaws. Any idea what the part numbers are? Are they the A78-3 and A78-4?
I missed a great deal on CJ2400 (for 350 euros), so now I am putting together similar set piece by piece.
