IIRC, that goes away after you've made something like 100 posts.those tone mini wrenches are VIMs from what i can tell.
so we have an 8 picture limit to posts?![]()
VIM doesn't make anything. They source them from TONE.those tone mini wrenches are VIMs from what i can tell.

The Park spoke wrenches used to have the size on the vinyl handle in the same white as the PARK name--which wears off after a few uses.First ever Park Tool purchase. I’ve been working a lot more on bikes and these became a need. Made in USA which is nice. I wish they had the sizes somewhere on the wrench so I’ll have to put some tape on each one with the size written in sharpie.
Went on the Snappy truck just for the small pliers and found some cool flexible diamond files. They should work well at work because I specifically machine hardened tool steel and only diamond files will work.
The Wiha electrician hammer one of my favorite hammersWiha Electricians Compact Steel Claw Hammer 300g/10oz 42071
Sort of Swedish; a variant of Hultafors' Claw Hammer EL.
Versatile weight, rip claw, U head. The right one for me most of the time, and will do the job most other times when it's the only one to

Went to Harbor Freight yesterday to get stubby wrenches but they had none so going to two other locations today hopefully they have them. But yesterday I did get a hat, 5 and 7 mil gloves and a cutoff tool and some UV leak dye to track down a leak on dad’s car. The cutoff tool works amazing a few of my coworkers have had the same one for a couple years now and it works great. The green 5 mil gloves hold up a lot better than the blue ones do. I prefer the blue for color but they tear on oil changes they used to not be bad. Now these green ones are pretty durable I don’t know if the formula is different for the colors or what. The 7 and 9 mil gloves I’ve never had an issue with though. They now have orange 7 mil gloves too.

Those files look incredibly handy!

Exactly. If I remember correctly tat is intended to release the clips that retain the window trim on older vehicles. I remember watching a guy at the body shop remove the trim around the windshield on my Mustang with a tool that looked like that.
Just looked at those on the Snap-On truck.
What was the markup? I only buy the SO stuff, anything else I can buy it on line for less.Just looked at those on the Snap-On truck.
My friend that owns the body shop bought a set.
Snap-On man said that was the last set he had, they have been flying off the truck.
That sounds like a very expensive habit! I'll stick to gambling, drugs, bars and houses of ill repute--probably cheaper. It’s become a habit to meet the Snap-On man at my buddies bodyshop when he stops every other Thursday.
Today I went on to buy a short 1/4” wobble-plus extension I lost out of my set and came off with that, a pair of slip-joint needle nose pliers and a 1/4” drive deep socket set.
Probably a safer bet. lolThat sounds like a very expensive habit! I'll stick to gambling, drugs, bars and houses of ill repute--probably cheaper.
Not sure what he paidWhat was the markup? I only buy the SO stuff, anything else I can buy it on line for less.
You do have two kidneys, right? You only really need one....Probably a safer bet. lol
No account, only buy what I can pay for on the spot.
After today, it will be awhile before I save up enough to get back on the truck.

Not sure about anything in the last 10ish years but all my Park spoke wrenches have the size stamped on the bottom:First ever Park Tool purchase. Jiggler. That’s to release the trim clips that hold old stainless trim that’s around the windshield/rear glass on cars from before everything became plastic.
Yes I thought I was watching, nice shop, now I need to figure out where I dropped off.It comes in about page 5 of my pole barn thread.

When I was a kid my mom drove a '64 Chevy II (Nova) that same color. It was even an SS I think. With a 283 and automatic. They were cheap back then but they are pretty expensive now. My first pick was a Chevy II - I love that body style. Unfortunately most are chopped up as drag cars, already...www.garagejournal.com
Maybe, I'll start one just on the car.
Pointy and sharp things that arrived this week.
Stahlwille Hook & Pick Set 13000-13003/4 155mm
Pleased with these, proportions are just right. Not too bulky or dainty, 3.5mm shafts. The hook angle is good - it looked a little too open in photos. The case is sturdy but doesn't roll up, and this latest version doesn't have clear pockets for visibility although the ends of the handles are somewhat faintly marked. They also do a 250mm set. I did like the compound/complex shape some others do, but on balance went for these. I thought the Tektons were a bit too long, handles a bit cheap feeling (I have their mini pry bars) for the price compared to these, and no clear warranty worldwide. PB Swiss was also a contender but many reports here of them being a bit brittle and fragile.

I'm not sure what Klein is thinking but a couple months back I reached out to my wholesaler about some Modbox stuff. They informed me some of these items were only available via your typical retails store and not available thru a electrical wholesalers, in my case - Graybar. What kind off nonsense is that?.Klein is killing their brand to meet Lowe’s price points.
