Interesting. I just copy and pasted that into Google. Where did you source those?
I just searched for them as well... I have a single size of Lisle version (looks identical to those Beta's), but thought it would be nice to have the set. $21 on Zoro with the ubiquitous 20% off coupons. I threw them in my cart and will pull the trigger when I have something else to bump me over $50 for free shipping...1755546129870.png

(eBay set). hopefully they won't be just another garbage knock-off.

Beware... before I bought the single Lisle, I bought a super cheap set. It was, as you suspect, pure garbage. Too soft to do anything useful with. These were the useless ones...

This was the single Lisle I previously bought, pretty sure identical to the Beta version...

GAH!
That's probably the set I just ordered!

Well... that's what "Secret Santa" is for: easy way to unload all the tool-buying mistakes I've made over the course of a year. 🤡

I want something to remove the goo that somehow got adhered to my laminate kitchen floor. Don't dare take a gasket scraper or razor blade to it, and thumbnail isn't doin' the job... for $17 bucks, it's worth the experiment. I will report results.
The next step up I found was right in that same price range as what you just put into your cart, which with shipping brought it up to $32 and change.

Bojo sells all sorts of cool shapes for scrapers, some harder than others. I use them to scrape industrial glue off of aluminum rails in packaging equipment. I kind of like the handles on those, though.
As with all things made in the USA, it would also be super cool if Bojo would make them available for sale on other websites.

I thought mine were Neiko but Amazoon sales history says Lisle. They're handy dandy things!

Yeah, I have a lot of Bojo stuff and have said this in the past- I would love if they would partner with someone like Tekton because the Bojo shipping is a killer unless you're buying $50+ of stuff.

I’m not sure if I said it in this thread or the Milwaukee one. But when I placed this order our inside Grainger sales dude told me that Milwaukee makes SPECIAL batteries just for Grainger. It was everything I could do not to bust out laughing.

Well here are those SPECIAL batteries 🙄

I fn hate salesmen.

When I ordered the knack boxes I was very clear I needed none-marring/ marking (whatever) wheel kits for them. So as we’re loading up those I found out he didn’t have them included. So I’m stuck with what they had in stock. I sure hope I don’t have to go back for a mop and scrubber tomorrow, we’re loading this project tonight.

Let us know what you think of that Wera extension... I recently ordered then returned that extension. It would not reliably lock on many (most) of my 1/4" sockets. Trying to recall which, but pretty sure it didn't work at all with my snap-on sockets which was a deal breaker for me. It does, of course, work with Wera sockets.

I tested Toptul sockets and had no problems, then I tried Tekton, and they didn't fit 100%. I had to wiggle the socket a bit and press the button really hard to lock it in. I can't complain much for the price, but I really expected more from Wera.

After getting to use the locking extensions from the Craftsman 34 pc master set I got last week, I decided I wanted to add some more of these to my tools out in my workshop too. I've only had 1/2" impact locking extensions before, the kind with sliding collar locks, but never any in 3/8" or 1/4" dr and not with the little button that I really like so far.

I have a set of those 3/8 from way back. I like them because they are not bulky, the locking feature is slim compared to those that have an enlarged end. Are they readily available at Lowe’s?

There is this rather interesting looking street in Ontario where they have a bunch of discount type stores.
This specific one had some NOS husky stuff crica 2004 and older , it also had NOS impact drills , plainers etc.

I picked up the following
CA$2.99 -A Husky 1/4 spinner -Taiwan
CA$3.99 - Husky 3/4 wrench -Taiwan
CA$1.00 - Husky 6mm wrench-USA

I had to resist buying the very legit looking Happy Gilmore 2 DVD they had there.

Any other places in Ontario I should go look at ? Doing an under the the falls tour tomorrow , then maybe chekcking out Toronto. Any suggestions of places to look for tools etc ,in , around and on route ? Id be most grateful for any info.

Someone somewhere posted this 1400 watt Weller heat gun for $38. $78 now. Thanks to whoever is responsible. It’s an excellent well built gun.

IMG_5187.jpeg
Got one too , can't complain so far. I've been a bit nervous of buying red Weller stuff but at $38 I don't mind too much if it doesn't last I think. So far so good.

Yeah, these locking sets I got at Lowes, $15 & $25. Placed my order online and picked up in the lockers. I like that system for purchases. Quick in and out, no lines. Scan the UPC from the email on my phone and the locker door pops open. Sure beats waiting 15 min in line at the service desk at Home Depot and then 5-10 more minutes while they try to find it in big unorganized piles of ****. It's one of the few things I like about our local Lowes over how our Home Depots do things.

Oh that’s awesome. Like the Stahlwille ones we were just taking about a day or 2 ago. Which I just ordered some more of, but now I’m going to have to see if my local Lowes has these.

I thought I lost my tire repair kit when moving everything from the garage to the new shop, so I ordered a new one. Hours later I found the older kit.

Here's the new kit that just arrived, alongside the older kit on the left.20250818_201721.jpg
I thought I let someone barrow my fuel pressure test gauge a month ago and couldn't remember who.

Bought another and minutes after hooking up the new one to the test port of the suburban, I turned around and grabbed a shop rag off the top of my vidmar and there behind it was my original fuel test gauge.

OSHA compliant ladders, platform and lean safe. Well except for the baby 4ftr’s, we’re taking our lives in our hands with those 😉

Why on earth would someone need a e-torx deep socket?

I suspect an e-torx box end wrench was the intended tool there. But still, jeez, a 12 point nut wouldn't have done the trick? lol
They are all over European cars. I read that the assembly robots can put these eTorx nuts on and not strip the threads or damage the nut as compared to using standard fasteners.

"Why have you been standing at the base of that ladder for the last two hours?"

"OSHA says I can't move."

Nice magnetic rake, too! I have a coworker who leaves a trail of "sharps"--nails, decking screws, etc--wherever he goes--including the gravel parking lot of the pub. I use the mag rake a LOT. He seems to think no one will mind flats after visiting.

I have come closer to breaking my own damn neck on 2' and 4' ladders than I have on the big ones.

Tore my meniscus stepping off a 2 footer when remodeling the house - turned and stepped off thinking I was on the bottom rung when I wasn't.

Some of us are blessed and talented enough to maintain 3 points of contact with no hands! 😁

Four points of contact? I always thought that the prehensile ***** was a myth.

Would be handy on a ladder though.
