Blue Dog,

I've had that 3 pound dead blow for a few years now and it's a decent hammer for sure. I find the faces are a bit soft and the red colour has left marks on light coloured surfaces, but otherwise it's a good tool.
Rebranded under a few brands. Craftsman and Armstrong come to mind; I'm sure there's others.

This is my grandfather's old Nupla mallet from his days as a mechanic WAAAAAAY back when. Funny part is-- It will accept the modern faces!

Just got my new SK breaker bars in 3/8 and 1/2" flavors. These are clearly post-Ideal tools - the shaping of the business end is similar to the post-Ideal ratchets documented elsewhere on GJ. The chrome is beautiful, and the knurling on the 1/2" bar is perfect - deep enough to give you a good grip, and shallow enough to not chew up your hand.

You're going to like that snowblower. I bought the troybilt 3090xp when they had them on sale at lowes last year. Goes through anything I point it towards.

I got them from Advance Auto Parts, using the $50 off a $100 order coupon. Total cost to my was $53 and change, including tax. Shipping was free. The $50 coupon was the "spend $100 get a coupon for $50 off a future $100 order" promotion. Turns out I needed a car battery anyway, so the $50 coupon was icing on the cake.

Got some more tools from my grandpa. Unfortunately the majority of them were extremely rusted, and the box was not salvageable, but I managed to get a few tools cleaned up pretty well.
Rosco and Bridgeport screwdrivers, True Temper hammer, Stanley hacksaw, Channellock duckbills, Fuller pipe wrench, and Petersen Vise Grips. The Vise Grips were rusted open and with some prying and spraying of various lubricants we got the jaws good as new at work yesterday.
Ridgid pipe wrench is from Rickster, and Snap-on handle is from Toolhorder.

I picked up 2 of these Stahlwille long 1/4" drive ratchets from a member here, an SK socket set and Williams metric stubby combo set from Epstein.

Picked this 36 incher up about a week ago on the last day Menard's was offering 11% back on all purchases. Not bad for $599 plus $60 back in Menard's rebates...Not my main garage box, but good as a supplemental box in my woodworking shop.
