Not only did I get my metric set of incision torques, I picked up the larger set 20-24MM as well. Also he had my impact driver :willy_nil thank goodness, I have been waiting for that to mow the lawn, ie fix mower.
This wrench clip looks like Facom/Usag/Beta "style"

How do you like those long screwdrivers? I saw them at HF the other day and thought they were nice tools especially for $9.

I actually have not put them to use as of yet, I bought it for the purpose for being a prybar and a punch.

There is nothing on the wrench itself, Taiwan has most of MACs stuff not in USA. I already used the sae set, best wrench I have ever used The handles are like no other wrench. The open ends have the knuckle saver feature for rounded bolts and nuts. They are comfortable.

Interesting, thanks for the pic.
Just for fun, here is a pic of Facom 440 series:

Seems similar except the knuckle saver, same factory perhaps? The MAC version seems longer too.. :headscrat
I have been eyeballing the 14 pcs metric Facom set for quite a while.. how much do these MAC cost?

Where did you find it?

Old guy had a bunch of used tools on a corner when I was headed home from work, I stopped for the heck of it and seen it, I just assumed it was out of my price range. We struck up a conversation about Armstrong ratchets and that I was going to order a 88t from them for around $35.00 and that it had the same concept of the 88t Matco. He said he would let that one go for $30.00 and not a penny less, lol. I said yes sir and paid the man. Only "Tool Truck" tool I own. I just hope it was not stolen, the guy said everything was form a estate sale auction lot he purchased.

To the peeling that sux. Take em back and get a new one. Mine are not peeling as of yet. I will keep my eyes peeled tho. No pun intended.

Not a 3/8 but yes a 1/4 and it is pictured with the needle nose pliers. Here is link to the flyer showing it.
http://www.mactools.com/flyers/USM_2012_05/index.html#/4/

The 3/8 mini is offered with the purchase of the 11pc socket set it too is in the flyer linked above.

These just came in. They are nearly identical to a set of Husky's I got at Christmas. Must be the same manufacturer for both.

Well I know that you prefer the polished socket with flank drive. These have neither the one nor the other. :D

Not new, brought a orange marker pen and filled in all the stamp marks. Orange is my snap on color so decided this would add to that, plus it makes them easier to identify. I think they turned out awesome looking!

Cornwell rolled through the shop and although I'm primarily waiting for the Master Torx/Hex set to go on special I picked up a Fowler Poly-Cal which was on special for $20.95 but I he was cool enough to give it to me for 20 flat. I don't really need it at the moment but I'll keep it in my box just in case.

Got my Gearwrench haul from Sears... Bear in mind this was free shipping. And we wonder why Sears is in trouble.

20120503_194554.jpg

Top envelope had one 1/4" ratchet.
Box under it had ONE 1/2" ratchet.
Box under it had two 3/8" ratchets.
Bottom box had the rest.

Happy with the haul, though! Now i can ditch my CM RP ratchets!!!!

Sears did the same **** to me. 4 ratchets in 3 boxes. a 1/4" in an envelope from apex, a bent handle flex head in one box alone, a 3/8 stubby flex, and 1/4 soft grip in the third box. All where the size box's as yours. :lol_hitti

I'm curious as to how the paint will hold up with regular use.

Me too, I don't actually use the wrenchs in the photo much because the ratchet open end is a bit **** and I have the gearwrench x-beam ones which I tend to use more often, I've done them as well so it will be interesting to see how it lasts.

Well finally got one. Seemed like the best brake spreader design wise to me. Sure better than a C clamp.

If that works like I think it works, that could very well be the best design indeed.
What's the min/max spread of it?
I'd love to see a picture of it in action, I've googled it but can't seem to find it.

How much was it?if you don't mind me asking.

Dowidat tools were made in Germany and are considered good quality tools. The founders were involved with Gedore tools and as I understand it Dowidat became Everest which are marketed in the UK, India and Germany. All good names in tools.

Its not brand new but new to me. Boss was going to throw it out and so I jumped at the chance to take it home with me. A little rough around the edges and will need a little work and a good cleaning but a heck of a deal.
