22-24 Facom offset wrench, 6-7mm Bonney offset wrench, 7-8mm Bonney offset wrench and 9-11mm Bonney Flare nut wrench.

The quality is BEYOND awesome on all wrenches. The Bonney stuff had dried up machine oil residue on them but everything cleaned up really nice.

I recently picked up this small rolling work table. I have found it invaluable at times.

P1010052.jpg

With us shifting into the new house in a couple of weeks I have been cleaning out all sorts of tools that I forgot I had. I found this plastic tool tray under one of the benches and with the help of a muffler clamp and a piece of steel fitted it to the upright of the work table.

Once I get sorted at the new house I will put a few spare tools into the tray so there is always something there when doing odd jobs.

Seen that ball joint kit video. Seems very nice. Does anybody know if it can be used on different vehicles

I don't see why not... it's got 3 different sized adapter cups for pressing the ball back in. As long as you can access the ball joint and it's a similar size to the Honda ball joints, you should be gtg. I happened to have a Nissan Sentra/200SX ball joint handy and the tool looks like it would work fine for it.

Wow, now those are stubby! Good find for the money.... can you even get enough purchase with your fingers to turn them with some torque?

Picked these up while I was visiting in Toledo.
TSA pulled my bag over to examine the wrenches

Nice! Lol of all of the bags we had on our trip to MB the only one tsa inspected was the one with all the tools in it. I guess an IR hammerhead would look a little suspect on an xray machine  they were kind enouGh to leave a little calling card though!

Impact driver set came from Skin here on the forum. I got the torque wrench (TRC250) from the trade in bucket on the Matco truck. Still deciding if 100 was too much considering I can't find it many places online and still need to get it calibrated. Either way I've depleted my "fun" money for the rest of the month. Oh well :)

Yeah he could but he's not the Matco Guy I normally buy from since I split time between two shops which have different drivers but Ill likely have one of them take care of it for me at some point.

Good stuff . Lee Valley is a great store. I really like the Veritas tools, cant beat the price for the quality. I don't know if they send monthly catalogues to the US (or maybe you already get them) but if you sign up you get one every month with current sales and new products, then once a year they deliver the new hardware, gardening, and woodworking catalogues. Always good reads.

Cheers

This was my first time ordering from Lee Valley, but I did get the tool catalog in with my gift card that the wife bought for me, so I have 2 catalogs now. I like their store much better than Woodcraft, though there is a Woodcraft 1hr away from me.

Blue-Point BDGPL300HG (had no luck finding a USA made set of these pliers)

Matco has a USA OEM for hose pliers. HGO3SB/HGG3SB. They also sell a heavy duty and extra long version as well which are also USA. I was surprised to find out how many of their pliers are actually USA. The other half is Matco Knipex and then only a few are China like the extra long needle nose.

Couldn't find anywhere that said they were USA so just assumed otherwise. Oh well, they're also 4x more than what I paid for the Blue Points.

How do you find the SO non marring prybars? I have a set that the moment I use for dash work (stereos/interior electrics) that always bend and aren't strong enough to pop the stubborn clips. I'm aware though that they the thicker stronger ones won't fit in some dashes.

I received 3 Grearwrench ratchets from Sears today. I was looking for a THLF72 but I don't know if I still want one now. The Gearwrench 1/4" flex is really nice though.

4 new Taiwanese Gearwrench ratchets from Sears.com today. Very pleased with them, though they sound a little dry, so I hope they quiet down/smooth up with a little regreasing.

Yeah, after I cleaned and greased the ratchets, each with a drop of Red Lube of Love, they become much smoother. The grease from factory looked crappy.

Yes, they're the 1/4" and 3/8" flex. The 3/8" Gearwrench is thinner than my FLF80 and it is also 2 inches longer. I love my Snap On but this is very close.

I don't know what the hell is going on with me lately. I stopped spinning wrenches mechanically a for a living in 2003 and started ironwork. Lost all my truck tools and my Matco box, long story. Still tinkered a little few choppers and a couple hot rods at my pops shop using his tools or the few basic no name tools I aquired somewhere. But here this past week I bought a new box nothing special just a HF 26" stack. Also 309 piece Craftsman set with the ratchet wrenches, both sets of Craftsman combo wrenches, 42.piece Cman.screw driver set, 5 piece Cman pliers, and ASE and Metric Cman.nut drivers. That's just this week. Wish I could post pics but for some reason my phone will not let me.

If I said, everyone would be buying them, and I'd have squat! :bounce:
Seriously, though...Cripe. I've always had good service from them. Sometimes the shipping is a little slow, but for the prices I'll deal with it...

Yea was just thinking when I saw those pics looked like a cripe haul. Which reminds me.....I hadn't looked in a while
