The clockwise test at 30 ft/lbs came out - 30.67 (2.2%), 30.52 (1.7%), and 30.37 (1.2%)

90 ft/lbs - 89.79 (-0.2%), 90.11 (0.1%), 89.65 (-0.4%)

150 ft/lbs - 147.83 (-1.4%), 147.34 (-1.8%), 147.87 (-1.4%)

They also did a counterclockwise calibration with similar results.

That's pretty awesome! Congrats!

New toy. Now I need to find the time to go through it and make sure everything's good.

Over helping a neighbor with a distressed 1950's home he purchased. Wandering through the garage I saw a few ratchets laying out. Said he found them and meant to ask me about them before he tossed them out. One was a no-name, rusty popular mechanics looking 3/8s and the other was this SK. I offered to buy it and he just gave it to me. Certainly did not need another 3/8 ratchet but I've been wanting to add some SK to my tool box and for once I could afford it.

This weeks haul of the truck. 1/4 air ratchet, and long pattern S.O. wrenches 10-19. And thats the 19 next to my 12 inch blue point adjustable wrench. These wrenches are huge! The 19 is bigger than the standard 22mm!

Channel Lock 5410 and 558. The 558's are not what i thought they were. Can someone explain to me what they are designed for?
Edit: sorry for the blurry pic.

The reviews didnt explain it, they just said hose clamp pliers. I guess I am just a slow learner, I was looking for something to crimp single ear and two eared hose clamps. I thought these would do that. I guess I will order the Knipex.

Had a little too much fun in the Hot deals section. Picked up the Pry bars for $20, Drill bit set for $8 and each vise grip set for $5.

My dad is visiting this week, so I took him to Harry Epstein.

I picked up my first tool belt. I bough a Klein belt (USA made) and a good sized pouch. The pouch was made for Epsteins (hence the HJE marking) by a company in Missouri, according to Jori.

hook magnet...remove hook , insert screw with velcro wire tie under screw and washer...viola.

i mean the collar style that wraps around the body so you can set it horizontally on something. They sell them for the corded lights.

eared hose clamps? Do you mean oetiker for cv boots and such? You need something with a lot more leverage than a pair of hand pliers for larger clamps. Lisle makes an okay pair that have 1/2" cut-outs for ratchets or breaker bars to increase leverage.

Damn, this online-ordering/delivered-to-your-door thing is just too convenient.......:)

I got two pairs of jackstands. I was wondering how they were going to ship it.

That hand saw is just way too cool!
