Just picked this up a couple days ago. Finally have a place to keep all my tools since I don't have my Snap-On box anymore

My dad just bought a US General tool cart (just like yours but in black). I never really looked at them before but for the 99.00 he payed for it, I was amazed at how nice the thing was. I just might by one myself.

Just got home with my 20 pc set of gearwrenches from Sears. I'm impressed with the feel of them, decent quality for the $50 I layed down for them. In an unrelated note, the imported CM combo wrenches are a dead giveaway, but atleast the open stock is still all USA FORGED. (For now anyways)

That is way cool. Nothing like using a 63 year old tool on a daily basis.

I have a 1937 Snap On breaker bar. I used to to loosen the flange nut on my truck this past fall.

so, are you suggesting I take my receipt back and show them the coupon? I had a feeling there was one for it.

i would... $40 in your pocket

if they don't refund the difference, i don't know what HF's policy is, but I'd tell them you are going to return the item and buy it again with the coupon... I think they should get your point... just saying

i was hunting for a Snappy DMM to try one when this guy (88V) popped up. Watched it sit on ebay for a day or two then grabbed it. Seemed like a decent deal (~$150). Just cleaned some grime off it, works fine and looks pretty good aside from some case rash on the actual housing of the unit.

Been looking at this for a while then the Matco guy told me 2300 and I took it off his hands. I love it does everything I wanted and more! Launch has already updated some carmines 5 times in the last week.

Picked up one of these today. Need an accurate stud finder to use over the stucco exterior. This seemed to get excellent reviews.

Best part is that, thanks to American Express Shop Small today, I get $25 back from Amex. So it ends up half-price. And, a local hardware store got the sale instead of an online giant. Win Win.

Picked up a new ratchet last weekend...along w/ a coupe missing 1/4 sockets.

This weekend was a Craigslist pickup. :) Not tools per say, but tool storage.

how long is that **** Wright ratchet!

11". :bounce:

It's my new favorite ratchet. My other Wrights consist of a 9.5" long 3/8" flex head, 1/4" (one **** little ratchet) & a 9.5" long 3/8" breaker. I've been replacing my Craftsman stuff as it breaks. I love the low angle ratcheting mechanism. I bought my first one while replacing a starter on my old Fox Mustang...the amount of room I had to work, I could barely get 1 click w/ the Craftsman...compared to 3-4 clicks on the Wright.

^ You my good sir must have some big pockets!

Upon further consideration, I dislike the heft of my iron pipe wrench. I'll give you 3 dollars and a few old Cheerios I found for the aluminum one you got for free. That's a profit ratio of infinity! :D

Just back home on Thanksgiving break. I'm going back up tomorrow (to school) unfortunately.

As for the hardware store, I haven't been there since I went back to school in August, but I might stop by before I leave. After all that black Friday business (Up like 20-some hours just shopping for ****.), I'm pretty tuckered out. Also, no new tools for me in about 3 months (Got a new Ideal stripper and a Snappy mini-sd kit for Electrical class.

New toy I bought a couple weeks back off Craigslist. Just need to put a 50A fuse in the panel now :D

Old and reliable, and only cost $70, leads and all.
