Where did you get this from ? Been looking at amazon and can't find them

Amazon.de. They ship internationally. Total price was ~$225 shipped which is far less than what i could find through google. Chads etc.. had them listed for over $325.

http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00203M5YO/

Cant wait to have a chance to use them. I **** at crimping and im sure the el cheapo stamped things i was using werent helping.

Its for slotted pistons that are mainly found on rear brakes. The pistons need to be turned in to get them back into the caliper sleeve. That tool in a universal adapter to spin said pistons, the square hole is 3/8" drive.

I've seen those tools, but have never worked on rear caliper brakes.

So you use a ratchet or power tool to rotate the caliper back into the housing while expelling some brake fluid through the bleeder valve?

Inquisitive minds want to learn.

I'm curious to see how the 3/4" Earthquake holds up to truck lugs, the C3 and 1/2" Earthquake I know will do well from the reviews here. The pressure tester is awesome, the case is massive though, way larger than I was expecting, but it has just about everything you could need or want, including an induction feed when hooked to shop air.

I'm also looking forward to using the torque adapter to see how close the dozens of various torque wrenches around the shop are, to each other, the cert. of accuracy is nice, and very official looking, but I'm not going to assume it's 96% accurate or whatever the tolerance is.

I have used my 3/4 Earthquake for 4 R&R of 22.5 10 bolt wheels (450 ft.lbs. torque) and it does fine. I double checked with a 1" to make sure that they were on there, and they were. It seems OK for now.

Thanks for the info. I noticed that it uses the larger 1/2" airline fitting and a guy at work has an older IR that is almost identical (except of course the HF weighs a fricken ton).

I'm looking forward to putting it through it's paces, I'm careful about maintenance and have the 1 year replacement, so look for it in the HF pass/fail thread around the first of the year.

I've needed one of these rag cans since the 70's well better late than never 40 years later I finally got one.

Surprize! Surprize! when I woke up the next morning to find out I won both ebay bids. How the hell? :dunno: Not just one but now I the proud owner of two PH3050A's. Never in a million years did I think I could afford one of these. Guess I showed all them bidders not to mess with me. :rocker:

These do not have the quick chuck. Can someone on here that has one of these confirmed that the IR chuck will fit...or give me good reason not to save money and go with SO.

The IR chuck will fit. All QR chucks are interhcangeable, at least for the .401 shank air hammers. Check eBay there's probably a few of the SO chucks for sale/auction.
