Santa was way too good to me. Here's a pic of my Christmas loot!

ChristmasLoot.jpg

Got a Lie Nielsen low angle rabbet block plane with 'nickers' (from the wife)
a palm sander, some pony pipe clamps, a thin kerf rip blade for my table saw, a ratcheting nail puller, and a manual transfer hand pump for diff fluid changes.

From Epstein's I scored a tape measure, stair gauges, a Wright 3430 and some cool box art.

Also got a Williams 1/2in flex and 1/4in flex (S52-EHFA and a M52-EHFA) and a Williams 1/2in x 10in extension.

you will love the 1/4" magnetics for door hinge/handle bolts. i use mine all the time.

also use the universals alot on my cordless impact. snappy makes a locking hex to square adapter that does not let go. ever. until you slide the coupler back.:pimpflash

ive got a 10mm deep magnetic that has a spring behind the magnet, APEX brand, works great for those akward tailight nuts, or ***** trunk cars. i seem to always get those. had to move 12 bottles of tide out of a trunk once to bump a quarter, that was what happened to be on that side of the trunk. couldnt see out the windows of the car stuff was so packed in there. got one on the rack right now with $30 worth of cans and bottles in the trunk.

anyway, i don't know where to get one, as mine came home from "uncle henry" (foMoCo)

Hello everyone, I'm Greg and just found this awesome forum. Did not want to be left out of the show me your tools thread so here is what I got.
They are from Motion Pro and the one 90° bit holder comes in very hand for those tight spots. The T handles spin on the blue collar, I love these things.

Is there something like this that can handle more torque? A company i worked for in the past had something similar that was enclosed but was a 90 degree "ratchet" but I forgot to write down the manufacture.

snap-on sells magnetic spring loaded sockets (impact) in the most common sizes but they're very pricey at around $30 a socket.

I am sure this is obvious to you guys, but considering I only own 1 Snap On tool....... Can someone link where to buy JUST the handle? I would like to buy one, worth trying out.

Search the Snap-On Site, put in the search box the following for diff sizes.
Looks like you'll want a 1/2" though. Add a G or O to the end for Green or Orange. Otherwise the numbers themselves are default Red. About $5-10 each from SO.

1/4 TH936-12
3/8 FH936-12
1/2 SH936-12

Sears Gift Cards for Christmas = rounding out a lot of gaps, missing things, necessary stuff for the new job.

Carefully chosen all USA COO stock.

But these......these were out of pocket today, because I can't live without them (the green stuff......). I got spoiled at my current shop, and had to get a set of Talon Grip pliers for myself. And the BT27 spring tool is a necessity to me at this point, having used the shops quite a bit.

At Christmas was also given Craftsman Brake Caliper Spreading tool, Drum Shoe Retaining Spring Tool, Drum Adjusting tool, and 8" magnetic bowl. No pics......sorry.

Just ordered some Proto hose pinch pliers since it seemed the Cman ones weren't available in store. Did you order online?

Nope. This was all in store. If I'd have done site to store I could have saved quite a few bucks I'm finding out. Nearly everything was listed on line cheaper.

Nice stuff! The top wrench is a "basin wrench" used for getting at the nuts that bolt kitchen & bathroom faucets to a sink.

I had $5 off any $15 purchase at northern tool I needed to use by the end of the year. These ended up under $15. I wont ever have to cut off an Allen wrench again.
