^Yup! Got one and it's *****. I got Li-Ion batteries and protection components from my other projects; I want to convert it.
Congrats. Where'd you get it btw? Direct from Viper? I was lucky, got mine on sale direct from them and saved quite a bit.
I hope you have better luck then me with those. Mine don't hold a charge for long. 15 minutes or so. Yeah the lights will stay on for days but very very dim.
In their defense, both the ones I have stayed without a charge for months so maybe that killed the battery.
returned my makita recip saw, debated for a week whether I wanted a makita or dewalt recip and whether or not corded or cordless, finally decided on the 20V max recip, figured I got some 12V max stuff and would be a good expansion, now to get a 20V/12V charger
Went to lowes and got them to price match with ihlcanada + 10% off

Those look really nice, was considering more Bahco stuff until I ordered a set of Bahco adjustable joint/alligator wrenches and found out they were made in China...where are those made?
Nice, where'd you get them if you don't mind me asking
I guess I needed one of those pipe wrenches. Thanks!
First time I guess I'm costing people money new little TIG.

Sold my Lincoln Precision 185 and picked up this inverter unit.
The machine itself is great, but the accessories that come with it arent that great.
With a 14x24 garage I dont have much space to loose with a big old welder.
Tap sockets!!!
Once you use a sliding T with tap socket, you will never waste your time with the stupid adjustable tap handle!![]()
Pardon my ignorance, but what is a tap socket? I have never heard of or seen these before, so I need to know what it is before I go buy it![]()
After reading everyone rave about these dead blow hammers I decided to pickup a set. They sure are nice.

Trusty-Cook manufactures dead blow hammers for bunch of companies. That ball peen looks exactly like my Armstrong which I like a lot. That's a nice looking set of hammers there.
Those Snap-on mini wire brushes are really good! My dealer gave me a couple and i use them all the time.![]()
They're not SO but for how much they cost they will do for spares or something, on sale £12 on eBay

I have that set, one broke prying on something under my land rover and I ended up punching the chassis.![]()
Chad & Heavy Metal Doctor: thanks for the info. Is the main purpose of tap sockets for fitting in low clearance areas?
anywhere and everywhere. They are good for low clearance and high clearance spots. For example I had to tap 24 3/8-16 holes the other day I used a regular tap handle. I have a starrett long handle tap handle. 8 of those holes I couldn't turn the tap handle on because there was angle iron in the way. so I used a 1/2 drive t handle a 2" extension and a reducer with a tap socket. They are very useful worth every penny.Chad & Heavy Metal Doctor: thanks for the info. Is the main purpose of tap sockets for fitting in low clearance areas?
