I don't have them yet, but I just placed my first order with Snap On with my student discount. I bought;

QD3R250- 1/2" drive torque wrench ~$120
SSDMR4BG- green ratchet hard handle screwdriver ~$30
FBS5- feeler/gap gauge set ~$20
TR117O- valve core removal tool ~$5

The torque wrench was HEAVILY discounted on special this month. All in all, I spent $200, using the credit my parents gave me for my 18th birthday. I will be sure to post pics when I receive the items next week.

Next thing I am saving for (tell me if this sounds like a good idea), is the New touch screen ETHOS, which is only $900, and comes with a $400 voucher. Not bad.

Ethos really limited but better than nothing.

Got a set of the new 1/4 and 3/8 drive Gearwrench 120xp flex head ratchets in the mail yesterday. Nice finish, smooth crisp action, great length at 8 3/16 for the 1/4 and 13.5 inches for the 3/8. I like the way Gearwrench bevels the top edge on the heads of the 120xp ratchets. I like the Gearwrench comfort grip handles because, they provide a nice grip that doesn't really increase the bulk of the handle. The ratchet set came in a very nice shadowed dense foam storage tray that I'll never use but, it's giant leap above those flimsy plastic storage trays tools usually come in. The ratchets are made in Taiwan so, most of you will turn your noses up at them but, that's ok too.:beer:

Mastercraft Maximum wrenches, 30 wrenches for $30, can't beat that!

Couple pair of vice grips and pliers, and some neat snap ring pliers that change from inner to outer. Not sure how well those will hold up, but I figured what the hell, I'll try them out. Also got a cool little folding pocket knife with a sliding broke knife built in. Should come in handy ;)

Or non locking flex heads of ebay for 50. or maybe I should do my wallet a favor and stop at the reversible's lol

I got them off of ebay. it was like $47 for the set with shipping. They were drop shipped from the cooper tools distribution center in Apex, NC. You won't find as good of a deal on the 120xp as the 60 tooth from Cripe. Hell, the only deal better than cripe on that ratchet was when sears was selling them for $12.49 last year. Be patient, and check sears and other places for a deal. Every once in awhile Amazon has a Gearwrench bargain too.

The local Kmart is "going out of business" and has had everything discounted heavy for the past few weeks, but today they posted the closing sign and took an additional 10-30% off the already slashed prices. Picked up a Cambell Hausfeld 3/8" ratchet, 1/2" impact, and air hammer set with sockets and chisels included for $36. Also got reloaded on machine bolts and nuts, and bought 4 50' 3/8" air hoses for $5.60 each after tax. Got 2 new clay bars to clean up some of the early spring pollen damage on our cars, and got a jug of peak brand coolant concentrate for $6. Picked up a ton of quick disconnect ******* and restocked assorted lengths of staples as well.

Wife bought me a second pair of pliers! I don't know how I managed to do that, when I met her she didn't even want to walk in the tool section of any store! :headscrat

I just picked up this Wera Joker combo / ratcheting wrench. Will have to use it a bit to see if it's worth it, but the finish and feel is awesome!!

My new job has a Mac man so I thought I would pick up a couple things. Going to give the anti-vibe hammer and a ratchet a try.

Picked a few things from the flea market today. Deals weren't too bad but I seem to have better luck at yard sales. The Williams torque wrench seemed to be the only real find.
