Becoming a new home owner gave me a good excuse to buy yard tools.

Echo PAS-225
Echo trimmer attachment
Echo edger attachment
Stihl MS 180 chainsaw. The home has a bunch of invasive trees growing (Brazilian pepper) and a large umbrella tree growing against the foundation.

I felt that way when my m1a came in & I got it home, I had visions of it arriving in a old wooden box. That feeling only lasted until I opened up the box:drool:.

Friday I bought a box, my dealer was running some sort of special. Not gonna say exactly how much I paid, but it was much less than list price. Very happy with my purchase, but I can only fill like two drawers (most of my stuff lives in my cart). I guess I'm that kid with the shiny box.
:lol_hitti

Went to Lowes, I like their sockets, and it's cheap enough to be replaceable when it walks away. COO is Taiwan. Extensions feel nice, haven't used them yet though. Oh yeah, the Hansen-style trays are on sale for $5 for the three pack.

Went to Home Depot because I needed a punch set (broke the HF ones) and had been eyeing the Mayhew ones. Mini-pry bars and even the plastic case are US-made too!

Bought these this weekend

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauke...act-Wrench-Kit-2651-22/202043760#.UghVfNKTiNw

paid $285.00

then I hit Harbor Freight to try to get the top box for the 44 inch roll cabinet and a side cabinet but they were out until next shipment, Wed. or Thurs.

But I got these while there

http://www.harborfreight.com/large-steel-tool-cart-with-locking-drawer-90428.html

with coupon it was $59.99

Then went back in and got this with coupon for $20.00

Also bought an angle grinder and a few other things.

Got this baby for a SMOKING deal on Craigslist. :)

Taking it in to have the start capacitor replaced in the motor...hopefully that's all it needs to be up and running.

Hmm that looks different than mine, anything special? Looks a bit longer.

That is the updated techangle torque wrench, it just came out.

Yeah, my so dealer told me it just came out, they redesigned the end cap since that was a big problem w/ the old breaking or stripping, idk and on both sides of the screen there are led's that let u know when you are approaching your set torque green, yellow, red, I like it. I know I'm leaving some new features out. I have a head job in the next couple of days that will let me break her in.

I got sick of looking on CL for a used USA made compressor, so I bought a new 7.5 hp Champion Advantage series!

I scored some Craftsman USA tools on crazy clearance at Kmart. First, a 12 piece Nutdriver set with hollow shafts for long bolts. The set came with a nice zipper case.

Then I lucked up on a pair of 8 inch long nose pliers, as if I didn't already have a few of these. However, this pair will go in my car tool bag.

Note the price tag on this one ($5)

What is the Clikstop?

I believe if you look at his picture of the single adjustable wrench.. you can see some "knurling" on the end of the thumbscrew, in the direction that the movable jaw will be pushed upon applying torque to the handle. That may in turn contact some inner surface designed to hold it in place instead of turning or "adjusting" itself loose.

That's what I think it is. :(

Yea, it has little teeth at the base of the knurled wheel that lock it into position. When adjusting the wheel you apply slight upward pressure. There is a spring in the wheel that allows it to set back in place once the adjustment has been made.
