I guess you enjoy Canadian tire channellock sales as much as I do
Bien fait!

homedepots everyday prices on channel lock are the same cantire on sale. I take the cantire flyer in to homedepot and they match the 25% off on their price. :rocker:

Never noticed that! I'll look for some loose change under my seat and see if there is more blue goodness to be had.

Home Depot web site does not reflect this http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SearchView?catalogId=10051&storeId=10051&langId=-15&N=0&Ntt=channellock&Nty=1&D=channellock&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Dx=mode+matchallpartial&s=true

Example: 8" needle nose at CT $22.99 ($17.24 on sale) and at HD $21.97. If they match 25% off their price there are more savings to be had.

Does that include every cl pliers at Home Depot? Cause they have some large end-cutter that are not availlable at Canadian tire

Do you think that the dewalt 12V batteries would interchange on the mac impact?

Cost of kit?

200 ft lb on 12V is crazy!

Thanks

the mac batteries are the same on the mac tools it even says dewalt on them. same 20v/12v charger as well.

i already tried taking off lug nuts off a gm 100 lb torque and it took it off. of course a little longer then a 20v impact but none the less it can do it if you need to.

the 20v mac is beefy too lighter then the Snap on 20v. the weight is more balanced then matco n snap on. My dealer said he removed lug nuts off a City bus with no problems. he said it was close to the IR gun

On their site, its says only 10%

My local store says they will beat non sale prices by 10%

But they will match a sales flyer.

On fathers day, CT had channellock on for 40% off.

I took the flyer in to HD and bought everything that CT doesn't stock in the CL line.

I paid $20 for it, the guy wanted $30 for it. I gave him my number so he could call and take $20 for it, which he did :D

Latest tool purchase was one of these

http://www.evolutionpowertools.com/uk/project/fury3xl.html

only mine is a special edition in black. My old Ryobi chop saw started getting more and more inaccurate, when I gave it a good lock over to try and work out why I found that the casting it pivots on had actually snapped and it was moving about. I was over at my place in France in the middle of building a deck at the time and so my choice were pretty limited but this allows me to cut up to 3mm steel, wood, aluminium and plastic all with one blade plus its a sliding saw versus my old ryobi just being a standard compound mitre so it has better capacity. Cuts nice.

Bearing puller and SO 1 5/16" and 1 7/16" 3/4" drive impact sockets

The sockets are well used off ebay and shown a little rust. I know its probably sacrilege but I skuffed them really quick with 320 grit sand paper and sprayed them with some flat black enamel. If nothing else they look good for now. The 1 7/16 fits the hex portion of the bearing puller and the 1 5/16 fits the pinion nut on the Dana 60 swapped gears in recently.

Now I need to buy a GLA12B 3/4x1/2 adapter.

Had some spare cash to burn, figured "what the hell, why not?" I'm quite impressed so far. With just the Ni-Cad pack it pounds off the lug nuts on my car faster than the Harbor Freight 120V AC one does.

Is the BOGO on the flank drive set something that every driver is now offering?
