picked up a brand new metabo at a pawn shop, love the "quick" feature.
Didn't need the radio but for a few more dollars why not.
Princessauto stuff. Cheap ratchet for under $7 to be used as a loaner.

Those NWS pliers from Bunnings are sold by some 'enterprising' dude on eBay for $90. They're $50 from Bunnings. As soon as I saw that set, I bought it. Crazy value.

Yeah in Australia.
Bunnings also has another nws set with pipe wrench for $10 more, but I bought the knipex set on sale the day before.
Didnt really need the Stahlwille set, but they were on sale $150 from $200, and I saved another $30 during some "click frenzy" online special. $120 total

Great novelty, but...

How come you can get decent hard handles so easily for the basin in your outside *********, but you can only get them on your drivers if there's an 'R' in the month and you buy an entire set!
:headscrat not sure I follow? The faucet handles are quite a bit larger than a standard stubby hard handle so they're not "real" . Are you saying your driver doesn't stock loose hardhandles?

Dunno if its a "tool" buuuuut..... :pimpflash

Where did you find those? That packaging is all kinds of confusing. Made in USA. Metric dimensions, it almost looks like Japanese characters on the smaller pics. I see you are in Canada? Is that a product of the UN or something? :lol_hitti

Faucet handle and a rear winsheld wiper accessory. Those seem like two different markets. :dunno:

Based upon the Japanese instructions on the front of the package, I doubt theya re sold or even found on a Snap-On truck.

As for your driver not carrying Snap-On hard handles, they are a special deal only once in a while item.

HH ratches are once in a while as are HH screwdrivers in full sets.

Not sure what still comes as singles in HH tools and what HH handle alone sizes are even available these days.

The blue HH items were Father's Day only .

Hit or miss on the HH tools out of Kenosha.

The faucet handles are a cute non-factory item.

Kinda would have been neat if hot water was red and cold water was dark blue.

Using it as a rear wiper delete cover does have be baffled though.

But who am I to judge. I like 'em.

LOL @ product of UN! As far as I know, they were only sold in Japan by Snap On a few years back. A few american importers were selling them and a few other similar trinkets briefly I believe. I simply got lucky on this set and got them from a friend. Where he got them I have no clue. The handles say USA but I'm pretty sure they weren't made in the USA. I don't have the package handy but I'll check that later this evening.

Package says on the front "Printed in Japan,"

That was the giveaway. Well, the Japanese instructions helped.

I'd bet Taiwan made handles, if not, then China.

Neat item for the hard-core SO users. :)

id honestly bet it's most likely made in China but will find out for sure. As long as they're durable enough to turn off and on the faucet, I'm good.

**edit** just checked. Made in Japan! who'd a thunk it?!?

Got a free ratchet today, from Lowe's.

I was stopping in for some 123A batteries for work and decided I'd just do a quick run by of the tool section and see if anything new had yellow tags on it. This stuck out like a sore thumb. It was hanging in one of the new style packages (printed made in Taiwan) and had all the #s crossed out + the bar code. I quickly grabbed it and went straight to the registers. I asked the man how much and after he realized he couldn't scan it and it wasn't in the correct packaging called the tool department. A minute later they called back, he said it was missing parts, if I really want it, it's free. I asked him if he was serious and he said yes. So I said thank you very much, paid for my batteries and headed back work.

It was sticking, but some new grease and it's as good as new.

How much did you buy the Knipex for? Masters website says $118. The NWS set are a better value proposition ($60). Nice pickup on the Stahlwille's.
