CTB7185 for the 18v lithium drill and CTB4145 for the 14.4v ni-cad impact. I will be purchasing a CTB4187 for the impact. I put one on it the other day and wow what a difference in power. My snappy driver said he knows of guys that have been running the 18v on the 14.4 impact for years with no trouble

grabbed these while at hd today. the speedbor's were around or slightly more than half off. the unibit i found in the clearance bin. original price $34. clearance priced marked $16. rang up $4 :D

I have a Miller weld mostly steel, some alum. Just build and repair whatever, not a welder by trade.

I took this HF chain saw sharpener and modified it, it worked well using it and a cordless drill. Two things I always had to pay close attention to, the angle and speed of the drill rotation at the wheel so that the cutting lines ran parallel and not around the tungsten.

Sometime the stars would align and the arc was a thing to behold. I have come to the conclusion that the consistency of the tungsten is a key, this grinder does two things nicely, the angle and the tip, and the tip where ground is 80 90% smooth. The better I get with the tool I betting the tip will be very close to 100%

IDK why, but that line made me laugh :lol: :thumbup: What machine do you have, what type of tungsten do you typically use?

Haul from HJE and Wiha USA. Vaughn and grayvik ball peens, since I'm that guy who used claw hammers when working on cars previously. And finally a quality ratchet. Too bad UPS sticker bombed my box art!

Wiha had cheap shipping, free over $100, and some good clearance deals. I got a set of screwdrivers, mostly Microfinish, and heavily biased towards Phillips since I mostly work on cars. So, the nonslip grips well be nice, and I don't have the usual huge assortment of slotted drivers I barely use. I could care less that they don't match. They threw the pliers in for free!

Dang that is some nice stuff. :drool: What is the make of the soft face hammer? Where did you order that from, I'm sorry I don't know HJE? :dunno:

Soft face hammer is a Wiha dead blow, 35mm. Wiha stuff all came from Wiha site direct. I'm pretty new to this site and the tool addiction, previously just had a craftsman set and some HF stuff. Trying to buy nicer stuff now that won't break and wear out so easily.
