Picked this up couple days ago & finally got to use it today. I absolutely love this, no annoying air hose & annoying noise.

Picked this up off the truck to do a timing cover on a dodge pick up. Shop didn't want to buy it to only use it once but didn't want to lose out on the job. So I ended up having to buy it.

I have a bunch of M18 and M12 tools, and that is by far my favorite and most used out of all of them. You will learn to love it.

Unfortunately Snap On was on the slow boat, as they had just recently released a comparable cordless ratchet. I like the new Snap On one a lot, but weighing the pros and cons, Milwaukee has a much better tool line up, much better pricing, and very similar specs on the tools.

You will love it.

That's pretty lame. If they didn't want to lose the job then they should have bought it. Just my personal opinion on shop tools.

I never thought I would spend $213 on some socket organizers but you guys drove me to it. The down fall of the Lowes ones are that if your under a truck with a set and you kick it or knock them over with a hose, you have to go on a search and rescue mission.

I love the m12 line, got a 3/8 impact coming Monday. I was going to switch to the m18 lineup until I notice ridgid released a 1/2 impact & grinder. Got to much $$ into the batteries to switch.

Who made the red socket rails, are they the ones you have to twist the socket to lock on?

Mechanic Time Savers, I got them thru Tooltopia. And they are the twist to lock rails. The thing is you you don't have to lock them unless you want to. I had to do about 2 weeks of field work and bought some Harbor Freight plastic rails and broke about 3-4 pegs a day. These are good for stationary or field work.

Took a trip to HF this morning. Picked up the 1/2" earthquake impact since it seems well reviewed for the price. Beat the **** out of it today and it performed well.

It is heavy and I don't know if I would want to use it all day, every day but for at home use, I think it will be just fine.

There are gedore 'dealers' here? Do you know of any locally? I'm just across the border from you in suffolk

There's a place near Ipswich that sells kitchen worktops and such - they're on the same industrial estate Toyota is on. Don't know the name though.

The price in Monte's link looks pretty good though.

Gearwrench stuff is on sale again at Advance Auto Parts. Got this for $14.99! Really just wanted an extra 10mm and 13mm for my cart at work. But this 5 piece set was the cheaper route.

Or just rented one from the parts store. There's a wide assortment of specialty loaner tools from Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, and Oreillys.

Up north here we don't really have that option available to us to rent specialty tools.

But tomorrow I am quitting my job anyway and moving on

So is that a matte chrome finish on those Bahcos? How did they make the finish that attractive? I can only assume it would hold up well over time, I know that's a quality wrench from my past Bahco experience.
