Unusual socket. Do you know what these were made for, or have a job in mind for it?

I have a 3/8" drive SK socket that's both 1" & 1 1/16". I looked up what it's for online and apparently it's meant for working with some sort of sensor on a vehicle - don't remember what sensor though.

Oil pressure sensors and some coolant, mostly GM and Dodge.

^^ i got a little order in from zoro tools today. i picked up a few S-K turbosockets; i'm not sure exactly what size i need so i just bracketed it and got a few on each side of the size of my fastener... curious (with high hopes) to see how they work out. i also threw a klein #2 robertson driver on my order, i wanted another fixed-shank #2 robertson, and i finally picked up a six-in-one tapping tool; i didn't really know what folks would need this for until i stripped the threads out of a $20 dimmer switch, LOL. the tapping tool was almost free with a zoro tools coupon code that i found on the web. i basically paid like $5 for it, when it was all said and done. another great experience with zoro.

where did you get those pro to locking pliers???

I got them on eBay. Buy it now. $8.00 each. Seller had 4. I bought 1 and then turned around 2 days later and got the other 3. Not sure where the seller got them. His other listings didn't show him as somebody who deals in tools. I started to not get them as I've got vise grips coming out my ears. But at that price, I couldn't resist.

If I am not mistaking Matco and GW are both under the same corporation?

Sort of, until recently.

GearWrench is part of Apex Tool Group, which was a joint venture between Danaher and Cooper Industries. It was recently sold to Bain Capital though, separating it entirely from Danaher, which still owns Matco.

The Matco screwdrivers are/were Witte made in Germany.I doubt that those GearWrench screwdrivers are made anywhere other than China or Taiwan.

Matco carries two different lines of screwdrivers or at least they did. The Witte and another set with handles similar to the Gearwrench.

Picked these up from Ollies on the way home today. Never heard of "Richard" tools, but I needed some pry bars and the price was right at 20 bucks total for the single and 3 piece set together. Despite the low price tag, they're made in Canada and look surprisingly decent. They even have striking caps on the handles.

No "sets" at my local Ollies but they had a big stack of all sizes in both straight and curved ends in either carbon steel or molybdenum steel.

Found the Easco wrench (USA) at a local surplus store for a buck. I picked up some crimpers for working on the cat5e that I ran out to the garage, since I was having issues.

Sorry about the crappy pic.

The HF one? No I don't usually use HF tools much but heard good things about these here on GJ and my buddy was wanting my RP craftsman so I told him if he got me one of these I would give him the craftsman as I hate the raised panels and he wanted it to go with his 1/4 and 3/8.

Where did you buy these from? Very nice..

looking at those that hex end looks like a pretty cool feature...you could use them on a ratchet or for some odd reason if you needed you could use a open or box end wrench on them.

Crappy picture but Gearwrench 84 tooth flex ratchet set. Building a better tool set for my second job so I don't have to take tool back and forth.
