Where did you buy these from? Very nice..
The extensions are made by Toptul. Toptul's Parent company Rotar is a Taiwanese company that makes high end industrial grade surface finishing machinery that many European and German hand tool companies use to plate/polish their tools. A couple years ago Rotar created Toptul to manufacture their own hand tools, which is why Toptul's products have incredible looking chrome, and their chrome is more durable than any other tool brand that I own. These tools just don't look good either, they are much better than many domestic made tools, and quality wise rival the truck brands.
I bought the extensions from a Canadian Toptul dealer that is now out of business (I can't recall the name.) I ended up getting the last of his stock and paid only $7 for the extensions that you see there
looking at those that hex end looks like a pretty cool feature...you could use them on a ratchet or for some odd reason if you needed you could use a open or box end wrench on them.
Yeah they are a niffty feature for sure. I've only had to use a wrench on the hex end twice, but it saved me a whole lot of time and frustration so I'll take it.
