I have posted this place that doesn't charge a small order fee. I bought from them and picked it up locally but they will ship it to you and there prices were cheaper than Shamrock if I recall correctly. They were good to do business with.

Thanks for that info! I checked out their website and fortunately see that they are located in Cincinnati which is about an hour drive for me. Next time I go to Cincinnati which should be in a couple of days I will have to stop by.

I have been looking for a good bench vise and yesterday finally i bought it.
It's the nº3 (no idea the inches), it weighs 12 kg. its a "casa grande" brand, made here in argentina.

Picked them up yesterday. The set was on special 2 weeks ago for $49.99 (reduced from $124.99). Went to buy a set then, but the Canadian Tire store couldn't find any of the 4 sets the computer system said they had in stock. Walked out with a rain check instead.

Comparing them to the standard and short length Stanley wrenches that I bought 2 months ago, it does look like they came out of the same factory in China, but the polished chrome and overall finish makes them feel and look much nicer than the black chrome Stanleys.

Picked up a new Dremel 7300-PT 4.8-Volt Pet Grooming Kit for my new pup. Hopefully I can get her used to this. It's battery operated, pretty quiet and so far she's not freaked out by it.

just picked up this 20 pc set of Craftsman midget ignition wrenches, SAE and metric. The SAE set is mostly nice, but the smallest wrench with 5/32 open and 3/16 closed ends had a number stamping error which left a ding in the wrench itself. And the lettering on the wrenches doesn't match. They look like actual miniature wrenches, though. They are marked -v-

The metric set looks like it was just stamped out of steel (And very crudely stamped at that). There is a large burr in the open end of several of the wrenches. That being said these have nicer chrome than the SAE...very shiny.

I only paid $20 for these, both NOS made in usa sets...if it wouldn't have said usa i would have assumed they were chinese. oh well...they won't get used too hard anyway.

not really sure what I'll end up preferring / needing for what I'm welding so wanted to give myself some room to experiment with different cups. I'll be doing a lot of stainless exhaust stuff which is the reason for the jumbo pyrex cup and dual flowmeter for backpurge.

Good to see I'm not the only one that uses zip ties to keep wrenches in order, lol
Zip ties are such a useful item, especially the ones with the release tab.

I figured the zip ties would keep them together after I unboxed them. The quality Chinese cardboard that they were packaged in has already been prepared for recycling.

As soon as I get them into the tool box, they'll come off the zip ties, but at the moment, I've totally run out of room in my 26" Craftsman base cabinet and top box. A second 26" Craftsman base cabinet is on order and then all the tools get a total reorganization.

I'll probably use my LASER engraver (Universal Laser Systems VLS 4.60 fitted with a 50 Watt CO2 LASER cartridge) to cut some holders for them (and the rest of my wrenches). I make a lot of stuff like that out of 1/8" HDF (AKA Masonite).

My son has the same HTP tig for about 15 months now and loves it.:thumbup:

Picked these up over the last several weeks.
HF 2 ton low profile jack. Light years ahead of the old HF 3 ton I've had for 8 years.
Jackson WH40 from the hot deals thread. Ended up being free after rebate and $50 Amazon coupon :evil: Haven't used it yet, but I'll have to report how I like it compared to my Clarke one I've had for years.
Craftsman hex/torx set from the black friday sale. Made in in USA :thumbup:
Gearwrench ratcheting metric flare nut wrench set from Woot. ~60% cheaper than any other place I could find it.

Gave my son my old Blue Point allen wrench "T" handles and purchased some new Snap-On ball style "T" handles. Made a rack to hang them above my workbench on Saturday.

I picked those up a few years ago when they were a 32 piece set at $40....still a good buy at current sale prices.

I had been looking at the 14 piece SAE and 14 piece Metric sets that were on special a few weeks before, but the 30 piece worked out to be a far better deal.

You're right. I probably should have passed the image through PhotoShop before I uploaded it. It is too dark.
