Nice table. I'm still waiting for the proper piece of plate steel to cross me so I can build mine. Is that 1/2" plate? Estimated weight?

Oh wow. The angle of the original picture and bevel on the edge of the plate made it look thinner. Nice find!

Sorry, just seeing these posts right now! It's 3/4" thick, just measured this morning to confirm.

Some tools I got for Christmas.. S-style and half moon wrenches.. then some super awesome flexible crowfoot style socket wrench things. Official name is "Great Neck OEM 25518 Metric Flex Crow Foot Socket Set" just in case anyone is searching to find more info on these.. I couldn't find much when I was trying to read about them

These things are pretty heavy..they feel strong. Only thing I worry about is a bit of offset on them that may make it easier for them not to be seated all the way down on a nut--may not be an issue. At worst I can grind them down a little

So the snap on guy walks in our shop and sees me using another brand (it shall remain nameless) impact driver. Let me try his and I was instantly sold. Plus I bought a set of swivel 3/8 sockets and a set of of deep 3/8 sockets.

What did you get the impact driver for if you don't mind me asking?

I just ask cause I bought the same a few months ago for like 240, he said list price was like 6-700:eyecrazy:

The only tools I received this year (which is fine-I have more than I need :scared: )
Mr. heater HERO cordless heater. I ran this thing just to hear the fan, and it's super quiet. CAM00391.jpg

HF ball joint service kit. I won't be using it daily, so it will probably last me for awhile. CAM00388.jpg

how does it run? with propane? Does it have any build in security device to shut off when o2 level is below a certain number?

I snagged a 4lb Deadblow hammer and a 6 piece Masterforce pliers set from the family grab bag game yesterday. All of the pliers I currently have that are the same will go into the truck tool kit.

Yeah. It's propane forced air. the fan is about 50% quieter than my current one. I can actually have a conversation with it on.
It does not say anything about about an automatic shut off.

Didn't get a chance to get a pic before I put them into their homes.

But I replaced my Harbor freight Torx set with a Mac Torx set, added a sunex 1/4 impact socket set, Filled in a lot of gaps in my 3/8ths and 1/2 inch shallow and deep sets, got a large pick set, some 1/4 inch locking extentions and probably a couple other things i forgot to mention.

For Christmas, I bought myself a Wright 3/4" socket set from Rickster and I picked up the Proto Impact driver from Zoro Tools when they had their 25% off sale.

Have you tried the Magsquare magnet yet? Seems like it would be real handy but I've been waiting on some real world feedback before pulling the trigger. 600 lb of pull is a lot in that small of package.

I got these for Christmas. I'm traveling so they're stock photos of the drill.

It's their brushless drills with 4 amp hr batteries

And after looking high and low I found a craftsman vise.

M12 Fuel 1/2" drill and a set of Grey Pneumatic metric 1/4" drive magnetic impact sockets. I'm a Snap On guy but just couldn't bring myself to spend $20-$25 a piece on their magnetic sockets.
